  1. make sure we draft speed along with smarts. slow players are useless in the modern NFL and i do care about 40 times. I want speed with pads on, speed on film and speed in real game situations. No NFL game is played on a workout field!
  2. didn't we already try to McNabb route several year ago....Drew Bledsoe get someone young with upside who can play. I want the guy from central Michigan after several trade downs to collect picks.
  3. I see a blowout coming Indy 41 NO 23
  4. Vick = playoffs - are you kidding me? Michael Vick? career completition percentage 53.7% do i need to go any further. For a QB to be successful in the NFL, and I mean really successful, he needs to be much closer to 65% I'll gladly pass!
  5. He looked solid but inexperienced in KC with very little offensive talent and a terrible OL. not sure he's the answer but I'd be OK if we brought him in along with Brohm, Fitz and a draft pick and let em' all compete.
  6. OK, who voted for Chan Gailey at 0-0 he's still undefeated
  7. http://www.footballdb.com/teams/dallas-cowboys/draft/1989 http://www.footballdb.com/teams/pittsburgh...lers/draft/1974 I count 4 HOFers here!
  8. That's what I'm talking about, trade down, trade down and trade down again If we had 3 2nd's and 3/4 3rd's we would end up with 6 or 7 of the best 100 players in the draft and this team has lots of needs. LT, LB, DT, DE, WR, maybe RB, oh ya and that small little QB position. One player will not make or break this team next year but getting several impact players could. We hit big late in round 1 and 2, so gather draft picks! love the idea
  9. it doesn't matter...there's NO WAY IN HELL he would EVER sign here he got 16+ million the past 2 seasons so he's not after $$$, he wants to WIN and nothing says championship NFL team like the Buffalo Bills!
  10. I'm think our DC is currently working on Super Bowl preparations and we can't hire him until next Sunday night!
  11. 12 great seasons? year..team..pld/strd..Att/Com..yds..%..TD..Int..Rating 1998 St. Louis 1-0 11-4 39 .364 0 0 47.7 1999 St. Louis 16-16 499-325 4,353 .651 41 15 107.6 2000 St. Louis 11-11 347-235 3,429 .677 21 18 98.3 2001 St. Louis 16-16 546-375 4,830 .687 36 22 101.4 2002 St. Louis 7-6 220-144 1,431 .655 3 11 67.4 2003 St. Louis 2-1 65-38 365 .585 1 1 72.9 2004 NYG 10-9 277-174 2,054 .628 6 4 86.5 2005 Arizona 10-10 375-242 2,713 .645 11 9 85.8 2006 Arizona 6-5 168-108 1,377 .643 6 5 89.3 2007 Arizona 14-11 441-281 3,417 .623 27 17 89.8 2008 Arizona 16-16 598-401 4,583 .671 30 14 96.9 2009 Arizona 15-15 513-339 3,753 .661 26 14 93.2 not sure about that.... had 4 average to below average in the middle
  12. my first thought was yes...but when you really look hard....not sure!
  13. I'm scared off by his lack of accuracy. At the end of the day, accuracy is far more important that athletisism, arm strength and mobility. Can a guy hit a receiver who is NFL open or can't he. In the NFL, a tiny amount of seperation is NFL open and if you can't thread that neddle you are not going to be a great passer. I really do not want Teobow, unless we grab him late in the draft....like 6th/7th round later, or unless we draft down, down down and aquire lots of extra picks. then I'd take a flyer on the guy!
  14. This make us a contender? so where's the depth? What are we suddenly gonna be an injury free team? We need much more than this. We need a DC who will be willing to attack. We need players to get the desire and drive to put in time to learn new positions, such as Maybin as OLB. We need a draft better and draft lots of depth at our pathically weak LB corp. And we need to put together an OL that can stay healthy, play together and keep a QB upright so we can properly evaluate if he's the guy. that's just the starting point.
  15. wow, do you actually pay attention to the draft? Lots of great players go in rounds 2, 3 and 4! I remember a guy we drafted at #4 that had NO MOTIVATION. Picking high mean big money and perhaps no reason wo work high
  16. My answer is simple because his passing accuracy sucks! Can he even hit water fallin out of a boat?
  17. I cannot understand why people even care about the #9 pick. If the Bills are gonna get good they need to TRADE DOWN. We need to accumulate draft picks and a bunch of them and get more talent in here. One good OL will not help, we need OL, DL, LB and a bunch them plus maybe a WR. We can't get that all done with a handful of picks. Bail on the #9 and start gathering draft pick!!!
  18. Do the bills need a couple of guys or do we need some depth? I'd try to bail on the 9th pick and work my way down the 1st round and pick up as many 2nd and 3rd's as possible. 2 or 3 2nd and 3-4 3rd would do us more than 3 picks in the top 75! trade from 9 to 17 and get a 3rd trade from 17 to 26 and get another 3rd trade from 26 to 35 and get a late 2nd our #11 pick sucked this year and the next 3 were all pretty solid. there's lots of quality in picks 35 to 100, so go get a bunch! find willing partners and make the deals, we need more than 1 or 2 guys!
  19. Watching the "settle" conference...oh wait the "we got the best guy" conference, I will say that one quote more than other truly stood out from coach Gailey... "a lot of 6th and 7th round picks have gone on to be Pro Bowlers" the top choice isn't alway the best guy. those later rounds picks are often hungrier and want it more. Jackson verses Lynch is an example of that on the roster. Maybe Gailey wasn't the top pick, but he comes in here with a desire to prove something, especially now. When I look back in my Bills history.... Coach Knox....too young to know any better Coach Stephenson...still too young to see he was crap Coach Bullough...truly hate it, before, during and after Coach Levy ... wasn't thrilled at the time but history showed us what he could do Coach Phillips....hated the move but later hated the firing even more so. Coach Williams...really hated it, felt like we pass on better candiates, Lewis and Fox, especially Lewis. Coach Mukarley...really liked this choice Coach Jauron...really hated this but would Greg Sherman have been better? looking back i hate several successful coaches and liked a real dude, who am I to judge these guys, I'll let there win/lose determine if they are any good. just a thought
  20. Stephen A and Rome both feel if they shout something loud enough it must make it true. But strangely enough they have jobs and big paying jobs so their Chris Rock style must be popular. However, neither one is worth anything. Maybe WGR could hire them! Oh wait, Rome has his peeps...and I thought he went to UC Santa Barbara or not the University of Ghetto.
  21. so REAL Bills fas are suppose to dump their season tickets because our lame owner and horrible team history has made it impossible to land a top candiate for head coach? are you serious? I live in NC so I'm not a season tocket holder but NO WAY will I not spend the $ on Direct TV and NO WAY will I ever miss a game. I'm a fan and my father taught me loyality even though its painful, I will always support the Bills. No matter what!
  22. darn, I was hoping for good old Hank
  23. I do not believe Marvin Lewis was ever offered the job. i do remember him saying he felt he did not interview well here especially when it came to who he had in mind for a staff because he was so focused on the super bowl. Williams blew away TD in those interviews. the Bills waited to interview both Lewis and Fox and of the 9 opening we were the only team that did wait until after the Super Bowl.
  24. I've been a fan since I was 9 (earliest Bills crap I can remember) when my dad took me to see the Baltimore Colts. I remember Curtus Brown (No not the hockey player) returning a kickoff 102 yards straight at me for a TD. I've been a diehard ever since. Even 10 years living in NC hasn't lessened my love for the Bills. However, even I'm getting depressed. What has Ralph done to this team that no one to interview the for the job? Come on there are only 32 NFL head coaching jobs...someone has to got to want this job! I'm starting to think Brian Billick should be the guy because he seems to want it. And I hate his arrogant but...
  25. would the jets let take Brian as OC? I assume they'd want to block that move if they could.
