I'd like to see them bring Graham back (on the cheap) at some point. -

This should be the story. The recent book on Clinton's campaign "Shattered" states the Russia narrative was "hatched" shortly after the loss by Podesta. The MSM has too much invested in claiming the Russia hack... -

As the article states, the family rejects Wheeler's claims because they have not seen any of the evidence. Certainly understandable, but it doesn't mean Wheeler's claims are false at this point. Hopefully we'll find out soon enough. From my standpoint, ignoring the wild claim about why he was murdered, the claim that Rich was the source of the DNC leaks is as credible as Russia hacked the DNC (and used Wikileaks to influence the election). Unfortunately, the MSM is too invested in the "Russia did it" claim to seriously investigate the alternative. Rightly or wrongly, it appears there is a concerted effort to de-legitimize Trump based on this issue. It has also been used by Hillary's camp as the excuse for her loss. Until THIS issue is resolved, it will continue to fuel these wacky conspiracy theories I love so much... -

Yes, let's see what kind of coverage this gets.... If it's so obvious, then why so little coverage by the MSM? -

The Bills can compete for the playoffs IF they don't have injuries at some important positions. Unfortunately, there are currently too many important positions that lack depth. The odds are against them this year. -
Probably the strongest unit on the Bills this year is the O-line, and I'm really liking the Dawkins pick. I'm sure this interview was posted somewhere, but this quote stands out: If he wins the starting RT position, this could be the best O-line since the glory days. They will also have great depth with Groy and Lewis backing C/G positions, and Kouandjio, Mills, and Henderson in the T mix. Hope they sign Barnidge as it would solidify the TE position, as it relates to the O-line. If Shady stays healthy, this is going to be a top 10 offense.

he didn't look slow when he sacked Brady.

First time I've heard Zay interview. Smart, well-spoken young man. Picking smart young men over illiterates bodes well for building a winning "team" in the long run.

6-8 is a good range. Much will depend on who is on the field in passing situations. Will Lorax come in for shaq?

Not sure if I posted the article here or not, but it suggested that the US would try to support the uyghurs and create instability for China in a region where they are building infrastructure for the new "silk road." I'm pretty sure the military bases in Afghanistan are the most proximate for that purpose. -

I certainly don't see a "war" in your sense ever happening between the US and Russia/China. One would think anything that would move in that direction would cause one of the idiots in charge to push "the button." Instead, what we see are "proxy wars" or other threats used as an excuse to position US troops to counter the growing power of mainly China and Russia to a lesser extent. For example, the US and Russia are in a proxy war in Syria; the "threat" from North Korea is being used as an excuse to put a missile defense system in South Korea with its real target China, most likely. I hope you don't think we go to countries for humanitarian reasons or to support democracy? Fomenting uprisings and coups is another form of a proxy war, and Ukraine is a good example of that. I posted some articles in this thread about the "Great Game." If you did not read them, you should. -

I think there are two reasons SM decided not to pick up the 5th year option: the obvious, injury concern; the less obvious, is Sammy going to be the kind of player that fits McDermott's mold? I saw an interview prior to draft where SM talked about buy-in by your elite players, and he said something to the effect, if you can't get them on board, you can lose the team. If you look at the FAs and draft picks, these all seem to be team first players. Re Watkins, is he going to be a team-first player? I'm thinking of Sammy complaining about not getting the ball or expressing himself when a ball is poorly thrown. These are legitimate gripes, but I doubt McDermott wants to see these public displays. Hopefully Denison will do what Atlanta does with Julio which will be good for the O and Sammy. If not, and Sammy expresses his disappointment, then they will move on from him. I see this as a one year contract to look at both issues. If they decide to move on, then they should tag and trade; if they want him, then they'll have to throw a boat load of $ at him, with no guarantee he wants to stay. anything but a pro bowl year, and I'd guess there's very little chance he's here beyond 2018 with the tag. -

sure, the chance of "winning" Iraq is greater than winning Afghanistan, but the latter is near zero. I have to believe the US military leaders are not that stupid? I lean toward the analysis that any new surge there is more a ruse to build up a force that can be used to stymie China in the near future. -
i'm wondering why they portray the Saxon kings with such effeminate characters? Trying to emphasize cunning beats brute strength?

Given that some here have argued we could've "won Iraq" if the American people had the stomach for a protracted US presence significant enough to get the job done, what about Afghanistan? No country could be this stupid, could they? Trump wants more troops -

I am sure he was one of the names McDermott took of the draft board because of those issues. -
