  1. ESPN posted their position rankings this morning. The Bills placed 3rd overall, with S the only #1 ranking. Of their rankings, I think they are off the most on the Bills' DTs, 19th. OL may be their most generous at 14. https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/34385106/nfl-position-group-rankings-2022-best-worst-units-all-32-teams-including-quarterback-wide-receiver-edge-rusher QB was ranked 4th.
  2. He's getting some time with Josh:
  3. The guys at Cover1 debate the Lewis v Taiwan. I lean toward the keeping Lewis over Jones.
  4. Like to give a little credit to @StHustle here who posted a similar response a week or so ago:
  5. Agreed. My point was that Duke's chance probably comes down to finding a solid gunner to replace Taiwan. Given the potency of their O, I would think they put more weight on the gunner position than the return.
  6. I think the gunner positions are going to influence several battles. Duke J was the best KO returner last night, but making the team will depend on whether or not someone other than Taiwan Jones is a viable gunner. Is there someone at another position that would make Jones expendable on coverage teams?
  7. I had a similar thought based on Duke's KO returns. However, Jones is he's also a gunner, so Duke or someone else on the roster would need to show well at the position.
  8. This one against the all-pro is even more impressive:
  9. There was a lot of hype, interest and tweeting the first week or so. After that Red and Blue practice, I think everyone is ready for the next phase--preseason games.
  10. Oh, I thought it was safety given some are concerned about how Poyer feels about it.
  11. Gilliam effectively gives them a 4th and FB.
  12. Brownie makes the point about the importance of adding Jones and Settle:
  13. Phillips' has such a great personality, and his voice makes me think he has a post-NFL career as a DJ at a jazz station.
  14. I almost included him but wanted to focus on the guys who will most likely play DT1. But you're absolutely right!
  15. I’m very interested to see this group. I think Jones and Settle will be a big improvement over Star and Phillips, more Star than Harry.
  16. Chris Brown was talking with Frazier yesterday on OBL about Bernard playing MLB and whether or not they try to change things up because of how physically different they are. Sounds like Bernard is learning both positions.
  17. I doubt you'll find anyone to disagree with this. I am also hoping OJH adds another dimension to the O with 2 TE sets.
  18. One could say Knox broke out last year, especially considering all of the mouths to feed on that offense.
  19. Awesome plan! What area is your house in? Hopefully walking distance to a few bars... Biking is a good recommendation. We do a bike-brewery ride several times per year in the fall--great time to ride. There are a lot of really good rides in the area, my favorite (outside of the brewery rides) is the ride along Niagara river up to North Tonawanda. Check for all of the festivals too. Here's a link to many, but not all. https://stepoutbuffalo.com/festivals/ (Chicken wing festival is first weekend in Sept.) BuffaloRising website is a good source for all things Buffalo: https://www.buffalorising.com/ Cheers, TPS
  20. Thanks for that. Wondering if he's started a similar run against Belichick...hehehe...
  21. This is such a poor comparison, focusing on yards only as if the team's offense and qb don't matter. In 2019, Crowder had more yards than Beasley and was the leading receiver on a team that was dead last in offensive ranking. In 2020, While Beasley had a career year on the #2 O with Diggs as the #1 WR, Crowder was once again the leading receiver on a team ranked dead last in O with no true #1 WR. Certainly his durability is questionable relative to Beasley, but statistically there is very little difference between the two.
  22. My 7 as well. Has Hodgins ever made it out of camp healthy?
