The Jets will always get the benefit of the doubt in the off season. I think the NJ market is so big, and hope blooms eternal for the fanbase, that the media tends to give them just a little bit more offseason credit than they deserve. But that could just be my perception. All in all, I think 20 is about right for us and the Jets, although I think we're a better team from top to bottom. The proof will be in the eating of the pudding as it were. We need a convincing win week one, and then we will see a "real" power ranking list that has at least a little meaning.

I think it is just the "they're the best until someone beats them" thing, but as good as the Pats are, and winning another SB is a huge feat for them and for any team, last year's Pats team seemed to do it with more smoke and mirrors than ever. BB's game plan against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship and his plan against the Rams in the SB are the real reasons that team won last year. Can Bill keep winning with less and less talent every year? So far, yes, but the ride has to end, right? How long can BB and TB12 keep that team going? Hopefully, not much longer. Credit to them, but hopefully it is our turn.

Does Tyree Jackson Remind anyone of Collin Kaepernick? Not his politics, but his ability and style? Long strides, laser throws. In a year's time I think Tyree could be a legit NFL QB, maybe on a team with a good defense that makes the most of his unique talents? I think Kap didn't start until year two, so the version of Tyree we're seeing is a year behind the version of Kap we all saw start in SF, and I think Tyree could get there, and despite his limitations Kap was in a superbowl. UB plays Thursday, too, right? If Jackson starts that will be kind of cool, to flip back and forth, if you're a UB fan (which I am).

The Bills will win, and it won't be close. The Jets are improving, but are a year behind the Bills. Despite having a better QB prospect (maybe), the team has too many holes, still. We will win by 6 or more, because the Jets don't have the weapons on Offense, and their Defense is a bottom third group overall (I do like the D-line). I'm a fan, but a realist, too. And the Bills should win the first two games this year. Frankly, because of the stretch at the end of the year (@Cowboys, Ravens, @Steelers, @Patriots), I feel we have to win these first two, or it will be one of those years again.

It's the NFL, so it would be difficult for most teams to win twice against even a middle of the road team. The good news about this mental exercise is at least I can honestly say we shouldn't be doormats for anyone.

This guy, the writer, not the poster, HAS TO BE TROLLING. There's no way anyone could write that and think it is true. I mean you have to really try to write something that bass ackwards. It is like he was writing comedy he is so opposite to reality. At best you may be able to say preseason doesn't matter and Kyler could be great and Allen not so much despite the way they looked in preseason, not because of it. The writer has to be trolling.

It is good to see Jim doing well and hopefully getting better and better. I think he is genuinely psyched about the team this year. I know I am!

The good I'm seeing is more than just flashes like the past. I see depth. I see see direction. Im confident that even if JA falters, this team is finally made up of adults who at 6 and 10 or 10 and 6 will compete and look like a quality club. That helps sell me not just on the season, but on the next 5 years or so. I feel really good right now, and I'm an expert on reading too much into preseason, but this is different. From top to bottom this is the best Buffalo roster since 1999. Print it.
