  1. I have a lot of respect for the Packers, and even the wounded Buc’s, so I’ll go so far as to say it feels like the AFC Championship game to me. Obviously I could be very wrong, but it feels like it’s either the Bills or Chiefs in the Super Bowl. I have to throw in apologies to the Titans and Bengals to be fair (and more importantly put a kibosh on any whacky jinx!). EDIT: I may have just guaranteed a Bengals/Rams Super Bowl! What would the odds of THAT been before the season??? .
  2. We known a bunch of people with an electric car, but the other car is always gas. Sounds like a good plan to me. We drive cars forever, and depending upon the situation next time around I’d certainly look into it. In high school I had a third alternative. A Chevy Chevette was my first car. I think there was a gerbil on a treadmill powering that. Hills were a problem only of you had to go UP. .
  3. The favorite QB’s to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl are Brady and Rodgers. Apparently it’s not an insurmountable barrier. As long as we have a healthy Josh Allen, we will be in the picture. .
  4. Oh, just give him time…….
  5. Like the Buc’s last year, it’s all about peaking at the right time. I’m cautiously optimistic.
  6. AMEN! We don’t need any bad juju going around. One game at a time. Regardless of who is playing, I’m thinking we will throw a big bash for Championship weekend. We recently moved into a house that needs to throw some parties. It’s made for that, and one of the reasons we bought it. I had a friend/client decades ago who did a HUGE party on AFC/NFC Championship day rather than the typical Super Bowl day. MUCH better! Two games and less hype. Great chance of at least one good game. He threw a “grown up party” with much better food and drink than we were used to at the time: crab legs, jumbo shrimp cocktail, oysters Rockefeller and other catering quality level stuff. It was the event of the year back then. I’d like to take a step up from grilled wings and chili and do this right. There WILL be beef on weck, regardless of who is playing. That I know for sure. .
  7. I just set it up to record Wednesday on DTV. We just moved and I may or may not have recorded it on Apple TV. I’m still trying to figure this crap out, but I know what most of the light switches do. Progress.
  8. He probably didn’t lead in snaps because he’s the best of the best, and they want to be sure he’s available for the Chiefs game. We had a big enough lead he could spend more time on the sideline waiting for the bigger challenge next weekend. I will have nothing but respect for the Chief’s and what they have accomplished. I’ll take NOTHING for granted, and having Diggs available could be a key factor.
  9. You don’t think he might be helpful? I’d kinda like to see him out there. The Chiefs are kinda good. You might have noticed they’ve been going to Super Bowls lately. .
  10. I liked him there, too. I can’t be too hard on him because we have ZERO idea what was going on behind closed doors. What was on Mayock, and what was on the crazy egomaniac Gruden? I had never heard the idea that Gruden got the first two rounds, then Mayock took over, but if that’s true it wouldn’t shock me.
  11. If only you could fire the owners, some franchises would stand a chance again.
  12. So it wasn’t bad actors throwing them, they just had flying beer bottles and cans. Not much you can do about that! Glad they outlawed the flying beer containers, and probably where the 5-10 cent refund policy came from! I can’t describe how sick I am about hearing about the Cowboys. They are in a lousy division, and are not worthy of so much hype. It was a stupid call, and they played a lousy, undisciplined game. They deserved to lose, and they did. Get over it.
  13. Well, at least you were rich! 🤷‍♂️
  14. The Eagles have 3 picks in the first round between 15 and 19. The Cheaters* don’t pick until 21. They need the ammo, and I don’t see NE pulling it off.
  15. More TD’s than incompletions. How often does THAT happen? AND, it’s just that much sweeter that it all happened against the Cheaters*!!! As Belichick would say, if you don’t want us to run it up, STOP US!
  16. I shave about 364 days a year. The people who bought our house a month ago four doors up the road agreed to come over on a rare snowy day in Atlanta. I made chili, because it felt like that kind of day. My ritual of shaving only happened because we had people over. I may go 365 days this year.
  17. It wasn’t Oahu, but my son was recently in Hawaii for his honeymoon. Italy was a no-go at that point. Probably still is for us in a couple months. Anyway, they sent us pics of them at a bar with beers at 7:00 am local time. Beers were in hand, and the game was on. I’m sure you’ll figure it out. ENJOY!
  18. He should be the next commencement speaker for TE University. He is the proof of what can be, and what hard work can make of a person. .
  19. I agree. You are spoiled rotten.
  20. …..and then they died. 🤷‍♂️
  21. What about @Ice bowl 67? Let’s not leave out any of our illustrious visitors. Having said that, I’m sure I’m forgetting many myself! Classy for @PatsFanNH to come in after taking a beating. We have been on the other end of that far too often and most of us would skulk away. I don’t go to other teams boards, but if I did I’d want to be fair and even handed.
  22. Happy nerve free birthday! Your present was delivered last night! You’re old enough to stop breaking into cars now!
  23. You also started a thread during a game. I’m afraid you will have to do some community service. My car needs a good cleaning. FYI 🤷‍♂️
  24. We will all know where to find @plenzmd1! I wonder if they will have a special potty for him?
  25. Everyone will be happy to know the popsicles will be safe! Who doesn’t want a popsicle after 3 hours of subzero windchill, while turning into……a popsicle?
