  1. This. They will crap the bed against the Chefs and then the game I'll be attending against Houston will be some kind of 10-6 crapfest like the MNF game this week.
  2. Sounds like dad was ill and had a heart attack in the hospital and then mom had one about an hour later. Still have an unopened box of Flutie Flakes stashed in a box in the basement. Condolences Doug.
  3. There are times on this board that I want to know the age of the posters. I think sometimes the youngsters live so much in the moment that they are blinded by facts and overall historical trends. Whaley is fooling you, Millennial Bills fan! Those of us old enough to remember when good GM'ing got us places knows we are in a great situation right now. I desperately wish you would have been around for the good times.
  4. Less stressful? But that's the Wikipedia definition of the Buffalo Bills: Stress-inducing franchise that makes you happy and then makes you break things.
  5. Having watched him for the first time on Tuesday night against the Lightning, I really liked what I saw. Command during stoppages in play, amazing puck skills, ALWAYS having the puck. Can't wait for the next 10 years with him. And Chad Johnson is Jacque Cloutier 2.0!
  6. We've proven we can hang with any team, outside of stupid penalties or horrible 7 second stretches of QB play. The question is, will we win in the end or not?
  7. Well as we all know, Ralph was cheap. He had to go get his own gear.
  8. I agree with this. You can say going out to grab a "sandwich" and perhaps what you see as a "traditional" sando doesn't look as good as a wrap. Did you still go out to get a sandwich? Yes you did.
  9. I immensely enjoyed playing winemaker from 1-3pm and watching a good team continue to win in all three phases of their games: The Bengals. I don't know if Rex will magically become better after bye weeks. It's going to take a magical run to get to the playoffs at this point.
  10. As long as one of them is Houston when I drive 6 hours to go to that game, I'm in.
  11. I live in Bengals country. Trust me, they are (SOMEHOW) the model franchise right now. Mike Brown bailed out as GM thanks to his daughter telling him to do so, and they are one solid unit from absolute top to absolute bottom.
  12. It's gonna be all day. Hogan should be on everyone's FanDuel/DraftKings bargain list.
  13. That's exactly the kind of leadership that this team needs. I want this to happen.
  14. I watch every Bengals game in entirety at my friend's house while the Bills are on the Directv online feed so I have "some" credibility with Cincinnati. We need to double-team AJ Green. With Eifert being healthy finally, he's very dangerous. Tyrod will need to be careful when running. If we can get Sammy and Karlos back and we play like we did against GB last year (with way better QB play) we can compete.
  15. Just get healthy after the bye week and then start balling. Sneak in the postseason, mess fools up, rinse and repeat all the way to San Fran for a rematch with the Giants. We beat them in-season in 1990, they beat us 25 years later, and this time Skynard makes a 47 yarder off (crappy) grass to exorcise the demons. Except for a personal foul penalty that wipes it out.
  16. Good idea with the sign for TBD'ers. I purchased my Texans tickets today (329 row 12 seats 1-2) and hope to gain a valuable/priceless spot @ Hammer's for that game.
  17. I picture Sully as one of the dour detectives always complaining about the weather.
  18. I wonder if they take a WHOLE lot more houses and try to put commercial (read: restaurants/bars) in that area as well as one giant parking lot for tailgating. Wind will be interesting there.....
  19. Penalties were a real problem as well. I'm happy with a split at 1-1. Hell they ALMOST came back. In Tyrod I trust, dude can play. Two of his picks hit his receiver's hands.
  20. Agreed. The alcohol (which I proudly consume) is the issue. I however don't utter a single swear word, don't harass anyone, don't act like a moron, etc. Not sure what the trigger is to drink and be a douche. At the GB game, we had a really, really hammered person behind us. After one quarter of his horrific language we turned around and said next swear word out of your mouth, we're using the phone number to report him. He was quiet the rest of the day. I know Cincinnati has that number (the Jerk line it's called) and it really curtailed rude behavior towards me at the 2011 loss in Week 4.
  21. I'll take Murphy over John Gurtler. Look it up youngsters!
