  1. Lots of arrogance in this thread from fans, that's why these are called "trap games"... Hopefully the players and coaches are taking this game a lot more seriously than the fans.
  2. Entirety of the rookie season with a minimum of 6 game started is what I was shooting for
  3. I pulled the first 5 years passing statistics of the 30 Quarterbacks drafted since 2010 and put them in a spreadsheet for a statistical look of all the QBs taken there.So I am going to post some stats that I thought were important but I want to open it up to everyone, lemme know what stats you want, or if you want the spreadsheet I am more than willing to share it.YEAR 1I decided to make 6 starts or more their rookie season, it's just under half but enough to get a bit of a look at a QB. If you'd like me to alter the data another way I can... the guys who were weeded out because of insufficient starts: Daniel Jones (4), Tim Tebow (3), Paxton Lynch (2), Johnny Manziel (2), Patrick Mahomes (1), Dwayne Haskins (0), Jake Locker (0)What I am going to post is the top 10 at each of the following Category with Allen inserted in (If he's not in the top 10), and the Average of all QBs.Number of Games Started: Ranking Name GS 1 Andrew Luck 16 2 Carson Wentz 16 3 Sam Bradford 16 4 Ryan Tannehill 16 5 Cam Newton 16 6 Jameis Winston 16 7 Robert Griffin III 15 8 Brandon Weeden 15 9 Blaine Gabbert 14 10 Baker Mayfield 13 17 Josh Allen 11 GROUP AVERAGE 14.9 Win Percentage: Ranking Name GS Wins Losses Win% 1 Lamar Jackson 7 6 1 86% 2 Andrew Luck 16 11 5 69% 3 Robert Griffin III 15 9 6 60% 4 Teddy Bridgewater 12 6 6 50% 5 Deshaun Watson 6 3 3 50% 6 Baker Mayfield 13 6 7 46% 7 Josh Allen 11 5 6 45% 8 Carson Wentz 16 7 9 44% 9 Sam Bradford 16 7 9 44% 10 Ryan Tannehill 16 7 9 44% GROUP AVERAGE 12.4 4.9 7.4 39.5% Completion Percentage: (This one I left the whole list because I was surprised Luck was as low as he was) Ranking Name Cmp% 1 Robert Griffin III 65.6 2 Teddy Bridgewater 64.4 3 Kyler Murray 64.3 4 Baker Mayfield 63.8 5 Carson Wentz 62.4 6 Marcus Mariota 62.2 7 Deshaun Watson 61.8 8 Sam Bradford 60 9 Cam Newton 60 10 Mitchell Trubisky 59.4 11 Blake Bortles 58.9 12 EJ Manuel 58.8 13 Ryan Tannehill 58.3 14 Jameis Winston 58.3 15 Lamar Jackson 58.2 16 Sam Darnold 57.7 17 Brandon Weeden 57.4 18 Josh Rosen 55.2 19 Jared Goff 54.6 20 Christian Ponder 54.3 21 Andrew Luck 54.1 22 Josh Allen 52.8 23 Blaine Gabbert 50.8 GROUP AVERAGE 59% Yards: 1 Andrew Luck 4374 2 Cam Newton 4051 3 Jameis Winston 4042 4 Carson Wentz 3782 5 Baker Mayfield 3725 6 Sam Bradford 3512 7 Brandon Weeden 3385 8 Ryan Tannehill 3294 9 Robert Griffin III 3200 10 Teddy Bridgewater 2919 11 Blake Bortles 2908 12 Sam Darnold 2865 13 Marcus Mariota 2818 14 Josh Rosen 2278 15 Blaine Gabbert 2214 16 Mitchell Trubisky 2193 17 Josh Allen 2074 18 EJ Manuel 1972 19 Christian Ponder 1853 20 Deshaun Watson 1699 21 Kyler Murray 1664 22 Lamar Jackson 1201 23 Jared Goff 1089 Group Average 2744 Touch Downs: Ranking Name TD 1 Baker Mayfield 27 2 Andrew Luck 23 3 Jameis Winston 22 4 Cam Newton 21 5 Robert Griffin III 20 6 Marcus Mariota 19 7 Deshaun Watson 19 8 Sam Bradford 18 9 Sam Darnold 17 10 Carson Wentz 16 11 Teddy Bridgewater 14 12 Brandon Weeden 14 13 Christian Ponder 13 14 Ryan Tannehill 12 15 Blaine Gabbert 12 16 Blake Bortles 11 17 EJ Manuel 11 18 Josh Rosen 11 19 Josh Allen 10 20 Kyler Murray 7 21 Mitchell Trubisky 7 22 Lamar Jackson 6 23 Jared Goff 5 GROUP AVERAGE 14.5 Interceptions: Ranking Name Int 1 Andrew Luck 18 2 Cam Newton 17 3 Brandon Weeden 17 4 Blake Bortles 17 5 Jameis Winston 15 6 Sam Bradford 15 7 Sam Darnold 15 8 Carson Wentz 14 9 Baker Mayfield 14 10 Josh Rosen 14 11 Ryan Tannehill 13 12 Christian Ponder 13 13 Teddy Bridgewater 12 14 Josh Allen 12 15 Blaine Gabbert 11 16 Marcus Mariota 10 17 EJ Manuel 9 18 Deshaun Watson 8 19 Mitchell Trubisky 7 20 Jared Goff 7 21 Robert Griffin III 5 22 Kyler Murray 4 23 Lamar Jackson 3 Group Average 11.7 I will try and get year 2 done tonight, but definitely tomorrow.
  4. Nothing in the OP resembles a scientific comparison to say why any of these QBs are good or bad, it's just a list of names with arbitrary commentary on them. Maybe take some time if you're going to claim a 10 year comparison, you get high and mighty telling us you're going to "Give a Lesson" then give us nothing... may you should and I don't know... COMPARE THESE GUYS! Pull the stats from their first years as starters, compare them to the stats from their second years as starters, then third? Show progression of which failed and which succeeded? This thread is the equivalent of a Nathan Peterman pass... it's an attempt that easily gets picked off and taken the other way due to bad execution.
  5. Just throwing it out Daboll is an ex pats coach your logic is flawed
  6. This is a trap game Bills better bring it Sunday 5 and 1 next week
  7. Coming up on 60 or you already pass it? Either way, no 60 is not "the new 40"... 40 is 40, 60 is 60... No shame in age, wear it with pride.
  8. The NFL is better off with Rex in it... his buffoonery is comical and gives everyone something to hate, laugh at, and cheer against on Sundays. I hope they do hire him!
  9. Fantastic read, I love these two guys. Poyer is in line for a MASSIVE pay upgrade in a few years, but we've gotta enjoy this rid while we can. Not sure they can keep him Hyde, and White long term.
  10. Good luck to them, the article about Kenny Robinson Jr. in the Athletic was very interesting about how he chose to not transfer and sit out a year this year after he was dismissed for academic at West Virginia, but rather enter the XFL Draft to play there for this season and enter the NFL Draft with this tape being his audition rather than another year of college. If this gets him drafted high, it's going to change the way some kids look at finishing up in College versus going to the XFL. Oliver Luck did say they have no anticipation to target kids in college to get them to come to the XFL instead of being in college, but he did say with kids in odd situations like Robinson, they're hoping to be an alternative to sitting out a year in a transfer situation, so the kid can play and get into professional football sooner. Very interesting all the way around.
  11. Yeah I don't think Foster is gonna be running routes at full speed for a while still... the "kid gloves" they've been employing with him to make sure he doesn't re-aggravate the issues, I wouldn't be shocked if we don't see him play until week 8 or 9. Week 7 is like a Bye 2.0... its a trap game, but we shouldn't need him.
  12. Yeah I'm 33 and I can't grow facial hair to save my life... I did Movember a few years ago with some buddies and they all paid me to just shave it early because I looked like a child molester.
  13. Kroft would file a grievance and demand an injury settlement if we put him on IR at this point and try and force a release. That'd be basically neutral in cap hit this year but carry a $1.6M cap hit in 2020. At this point they're still better off giving him through the Bye to see if he can come back healthy and contribute. If not then worry about releasing him then. If we wait until 2020 to release him hes just a $800K dead cap hit and we get $5.9M in cap relief. That's a preferential way of doing it.
  14. "Wow what a play, what do you think Gronk?" - Bradshaw "Yo Soy Fiesta" - Gronk "Soooo same answer as the last 3 plays we've highlighted? You have a great way with words Gronk!" - Menefee
  15. This is what I was thinking too. They've been rolling with just 2 guys assuming Singletary would come back into the fold. If they're adding Perry now, it may be that Singletary just isn't progressing well and they want to shut him down for a few weeks so he doesn't re-injure himself and be out for the year. They had Duke Williams taking Special Teams reps last week and during the game and he was fine. You could be right, but it may be more about Singletary than Zay's "Special Teams Prowess" lol

(AP Photo/James Kenney) NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Jordan Phillips found another opening to beat Taylor Lewan — this time on social media. The Titans’ three-time Pro Bowl left tackle gave a shout-out Monday on Twitter to Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson for his production as a first-round pick with a screen shot of Lawson’s stats through Sunday’s 14-7 win by Buffalo. Lawson had no tackles or sacks in the game. 1,090 people are talking about this Phillips, who had a career-high three sacks by halftime, took over.
  17. I hope not, I want this tire fire to last at least 1 more year.
  18. As long as they're not sour cream and onion I'm fine with that return. Well said!!! Murphy hasn't live up to his deal but he's still been very good. Johnson has been a massive liability against the run and it was exploited by the Bengals and the Titans. He got that sack but early in the game he was so bad he got benched. He's a good developmental player but he's no starter and cutting Trent would be stupidity. In 2020 I bet they cut Murphy to save $7.2M and use that money to keep Shaq and or J. Phillips... But talking about breaking up this D in any way is insanity.
  19. Only if she blows bubbles in it while you're drinking... I'm not one who would encourage it if I were there, but I sure as ***** would sit and watch. And the people encouraging it, are the same people doing it. Most people think it's idiotic.
  20. This guy wanted 5 minutes of fame, and he got it... whether or not he'll remember it is another thing. Is it sad that people do this stuff? Yeah... but it's also their choice. I don;t feel sorry for this guy at all... I've been to over 200 Bills games and tailgated going back to when I was a wee lad... As I grew up I started to tailgate with buddies and we did some dumb stuff drinking, but NEVER is my life was I possessed to do something as stupid as these people do. It's their choice to not think about the consequences, and act... Most of them only hurt themselves, thankfully, but at the end of the day it's their choice! When you look at the prospect of jumping off a raised lot down 10 feet and over a concrete driveway onto a wooden table expecting to break it, you can't possibly be thinking "This won't hurt." Even if you land that thing properly it's going to hurt and there is a high probability of injury. So the fact that it went badly, which any person with a brain could've predicted, and he was MORE hurt than even he expected... i mean why am I supposed to feel sorry for the guy? Play stupid games win stupid prizes.... this moron played the table breaking game and won medical bills and notoriety for being a bozo... good for him... I thought the one where the guy almost blew his own face off was better... This is cringe worthy but the other one was funnier IMO. Either way I've watched both like 20 times lol
  21. No way you'd go through 10 tables... Prove it... ?
  22. The NFL is a pendulum, it will swing back the other way... as more of these "Offensive Gurus" like Crazy Eyes Gase and Fast Freddie Kitchens bust out of the league, teams will be more willing to go back to Defensive guys who can stop the offensive minded HCs, and hope the coordinators they pick will make the teams competitive on both sides of the ball. Much like what we're building. I see what you're saying about the trend, but It will swing back to where teams realize not everyone can be the Chiefs or Rams, so maybe be the Bills on D to stop those teams and get a good OC so you can do both.... stop the high powered offenses and score.
  23. Naw the momentum to get through that many would mean the guy would need to be going like 100MPH... unrealistic to get to that speed unless he jumps from a plane or Helicopter, and these morons are too stupid to have jobs that they can afford to do either... keep it simple.
