  1. Way to go Mario. Screw the NFL stat page.
  2. Can't believe Penthouse couldn't maintain a proper spread sheet.
  3. Easley was in, too. They went straight back to the goal line.
  4. Exactly. The only way a squib would work in that spot is if it bounced off of the Panthers player's hands and time expired.
  5. I say he didn't know the rule because of what you just said. A pooch over the first line would have eliminated the threat of a hail mary.
  6. I apologize if this has been covered already, but I was at the game and couldn't believe that the Panthers could field the squib kick before 2 seconds expired. It appeared that the fielding player got the ball and immediately took a knee in the field of play (I had no idea you could do that). I thought that the play could only be blown dead once a Bills' player touched him down. The result was that Carolina had a shot from a point on the field where their QB could reach the endzone. (Thankfully, Kiko ended that threat with a huge sack). So, I assume that means that in a similar situation teams should not squib. Also, the Bills ST coach should have known about this rule, don't you think?
  7. I was at the game and a group of 4 guys - who were totally into the game throughout - got up and left just before the final drive. I told them they'd be kicking themselves when EJ drove the Bills to his first-ever 4th quarter comeback. Hey, I tried. All great moments like yesterday can only happen when the team is down in the 4th quarter. To leave just to get a jump on traffic s inexcuseable. Glad I stayed ( and thanks to all of the great people in Section 101 that shared that great moment with me and my oldest son).
  8. Now that made me LOL. Well done!
  9. Thanks for the info. I'll give him a ring. Oh, the car is in Punta Gorda.
  10. You might not have time to work it into your trip, but I did a little mini-vaca to Cleveland last year (like Buffalo, it has a lot to offer if you get past the sterotypes) and loved the Christmas Story Museum. It's the actual house used for the exterior shots in the movie and they have redone the insides to replicate Ralphie's home - right down to the Red Ryder BB gun under the christmas tree. Totally hands-on (you can even climb under the sink to Randy's hiding spot). http://www.achristmasstoryhouse.com
  11. My father-in-law passed away and his car is in Florida. I plan to fly down and drive it back to NY. Has anyone ever done this? What do I need to do to get temporary registration (in FL or NY???) and can my insurance company give me temporary insurance for the trip? Thanks for any advice.
  12. Carpenter could get released if Hopkins is healthy. (or maybe Hopkins could get the boot if Carpenter has impressed in practices).
  13. My first job back in the early 80s was at a pizzeria where we shredded our own blocks of Sorrento mozzerella cheese. It smelled) and tasted) so good. Sad to see it go.
  14. Thanks. Does Verizon have to come back out to do that?
  15. "Damn skippy, I got milk."
  16. What then, kind sir, would be the point of being online in the first place?
  17. Okay, here's the deal. I live in a Condo. The neighbor right across from me just installed Fios and graciously shared with me her WEP code for access to her WiFi connection. Once I got connected, I was getting 3 bars. Pages wouldn't load at all. I spent $30 on a WiFi booster antenna - now I get 5 bars and it tells me I have link and connectivity ratings in the high 80s. Now pages will download, but at an agonizing dial-up pace. Any suggestions about what else I can do? (if it matters, there are about 12 WiFi networks that show up around the condos, so they may be interfering).
  18. Congrats, for getting started, Poojer. I think if you cut back on the beer it will help - also, consider light beer if you're not already drinking it. Keep up the walking - it will pay huge dividends.
  19. I don't think so. I'll bet she found herself getting a lot more positive male attention the nearer she got to her taget goal.
  20. Pretty amazing transformation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muYsMjOy-F0 As an aside, I went from 250 pounds to 185 pounds three years ago by doing 3 main things: 1.) I stopped eating anything after 7 PM 2.) I cut out all fast foods and junk foods 3.) I took at least 2 mile and-a-half or longer walks daily I am happy to report that by changing my lifestyle I haven't gained any of it back. If any of you have been putting off dropping some pounds there is no better time to start than right now. If I can do it, so can you. Stay strong (we need all Bills' fans around for years to come) Chevy
  21. LOL That's how you know it wasn't created at TSW. I thought Vick was really well done.
  22. Some of them are pretty cool. Btw, it's not EJ for the Bills http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/2013/09/all-32-quarterbacks-as-their-team-name.html
  23. That's a great point. The Buffalo News guys and WGR 550, too have many team and field correspondents, yet none of them ever break a local story concerning signings or injury. It almost seems impossible to be that close to the team and have them constantly hand scoops to the national media.
