  1. Nice shout-out to Eric and the boys in the latest Nick Mendola rap. Kudos! www.buffalosportspage.com/bills-rap-drought-is-over/
  2. That's disappointing. I just watched his interview with John Murphy and he was very appreciative of what has happened, but it would take a webmaster all of 5 minutes to put up a banner saying, "Thank You to the amazing fans of the Buffalo Bills, your generosity will positively impact the lives of hundreds of deserving children."
  3. O J. He gets released from prison and poof the drought vanishes. Undeniable.
  4. Was finally able to make a donation after getting the error message yesterday. Glad to see Bills fans once again setting an example of class for the nation to aspire to.
  5. Lots of nice comments from the Bengals fans over there, warmed my heart. Thanks again for linking.
  6. Thanks, brother. I knew we had a good man on the job.
  7. Hopefully, we have someone here that is already a member there and can post a link to this thread.
  8. Please join me in sending a heartfelt thank you to Marvin Lewis, Andy Dalton, Tyler Boyd and the rest of the Cincinnati Bengals for the part they played yesterday in helping us end the longest drought in all of professional sports. I've always loved Cincinnati (my son is a patient at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and we travel there once a year to see his neurologists) but never more so than when that 4th and 12 conversion for a TD sent the city of Buffalo into a celebration that still reverberates today. Thank you Cincy, from the bottom of our long-beleaguered hearts. (Hopefully, we can send a link of this tread to their fan forum)
  9. These were the playoff odds as the games were unfolding today. Before that Bengals 4th and 12 conversion for a TD, the Bills were only at a 3% probability of making it. The Gods surely were smiling upon us today.
  10. Unbelievable. The drought is over. I am so happy for the kids in their 20s who have never known a playoff team before.
  11. Raise your glass high boys, Through your lips drink down the stout, Today ends the drought
  12. I know the feeling, but I truly hope that if we don't make it the reason isn't so gut-wrenching.
  13. Yesterday I was rooting for Team USA and they had a big come-from-behind victory (wearing Bills jerseys, btw) over Canada at New Era. Then, the Sabres had an improbable overtime victory on the road versus the Devils. Those wins make me feel better about the game in Miami tomorrow. I've found that on weekends when teams I root for win, like the Sabres, Orange and Bonnies, the Bills often follow suit. Conversely, when those teams lose the Bills seem to go down in flames, too. Just curious if any of you have that same feeling when the teams you root for in other sports win just before a Bills game? I know it's a reach, but I'll take any juju we can get this weekend. Squish the fish, end the drought.
  14. As someone that has a bit of experience in starting a Gofundme for a Bills player, I can only shake my head at the ridiculousness of this offering - the guy should be cut by the Bills Mafia as a fan of the team.
  15. Still waiting on mine, but I put a down payment on an inground swimming pool so I hope I get it soon.
  16. Lehner claims predetermined bias against Buffalo, cites the review of the Benjamin catch versus NE and says it's "a Buffalo thing." http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/21895972/robin-lehner-says-officials-robbed-sabres-loss-everything-predetermined-us
  17. Had the great pleasure to interview Irv in 2004. Great guy with an enduring legacy. RIP, Irv.
  18. The kid is amazing. The Sabres' fortunes will turn around once he gets on the roster with Jack - hopefully next season.
  19. Dinner with family, Christmas music on the radio all day, presents wrapped with anticipation of the joy they will bring tomorrow, a perfect snow falling from the sky. This day is always my favorite on the calendar, how about you? Merry Christmas Bills fans, may Santa be good to you tomorrow and may 2018 bring you much happiness and good health.
  20. Reinhart had one two years ago.
  21. Lots of great answers given already, but if you ever find yourself heartbroken on Christmas this song by Joni Mitchell is a true masterpiece. I dare you to watch this one and not laugh out loud and feel a little bit better about humanity when it's over.
  22. With apologies to my Italian friends, this is the worst Christmas song ever recorded.
  23. Sending love and good thoughts your way, Cindy. May all of the memories you two have shared warm your heart in the moments when you need it the most.
