  1. Former Bill Mike Lodish had this to say on the subject on FB: What a disgrace to all that have served our country. To see the NFL players boycott the National Anthem because of THEIR OWN ISSUES WITH racism. I have news for you you protesting punks, there have been men and women of all types of color and race that have lost their lives because they chose to defend your way of life. You have not only **** on those hero's but you have disrespected our constitution, rights and various freedoms. I was fortunate to have been given the opport...unity to play in the NFL and have been fortunate to have played in the biggest show of them all, The Super Bowl, six times and let me tell you this, there isn't a day that has gone by where I wouldn't stand for our anthem, to show those families of all colors mind you, that have been associated with the military in some way, the gratitude and thanks for what they and their families have done for the USA. May god watch over all of you and God bless America! Goodnight!
  2. Glad to see the Bills' Special teams recognized, but I read that Joe Webb was the guy that sniffed out the fake when he noticed the starting Denver OL remained on the field, he yelled out "Fake Alert" and Lacey made the play.
  3. Take the apostrophe out of your title, there is no possession. Here's a vote for DeNiro, Orr and Barker.
  4. Rimshot...
  5. Scheduling anomaly, but both Buffalo teams play their next game against Carolina. Let's sweep the Tar heel State.
  6. A woman decides to have a face lift for her 50th birthday. She spends $15,000 and feels pretty good about the results. On her way home, she stops at a news stand to buy a newspaper. Before leaving, she says to the clerk, 'I hope you don't mind my asking, but how old do you think I am. 'About 32,' is the reply.' ... 'Nope! I'm exactly 50,' the woman says happily. A little while later she goes into McDonald's and asks the counter girl the very same question. The girl replies, 'I'd guess about 29.' The woman replies with a big smile, 'Nope, I'm 50.' Now she's feeling really good about herself. She stops at a candy shop on her way down the street. She goes up to the counter to get some mints and asks the assistant the same burning question. The clerk responds, 'Oh, I'd say 30.' Again she proudly responds, 'I'm 50, but thank you!' While waiting for the bus to go home, she asks an old man waiting next to her the same question. He replies, 'Lady, I'm 78 and my eyesight is going. Although, when I was young there was a sure-fire way to tell how old a woman was. It sounds very forward, but it requires you to let me put my hands under your bra. Then, and only then I can tell you EXACTLY how old you are.' They wait in silence on the empty street until her curiosity gets the better of her. She finally blurts out, 'What the hell, go ahead.' He slips both of his hands under her blouse and begins to feel around very slowly and carefully. He bounces and weighs each breast and he gently pinches each nipple. He pushes her breasts together and rubs them against each other. After a couple of minutes of this, she says, 'Okay, okay.....How old am I?' He completes one last squeeze of her breasts, removes his hands, and says, 'Madam, you are 50.' Stunned and amazed, the woman says, 'That was incredible, how could you tell?' 'I was behind you at McDonalds'
  7. I always loved this one because it pokes fun at the whole genre.| http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac8cQuEzDCQ

  9. I wonder if the Shattenkirk deal is still on the table for tomorrow?
  10. I like the trade, if for no other reason than to shake up the status quo. Foligno and Ennis weren't going to be the missing pieces to a Cup win.
  11. I am exercising the clause in my contract to opt-out of smiling.
  12. In the draft, yes, but it is assumed that a lot of, "If you take this guy, we'll flip you this player or asset afterward" deals are being agreed to.

  14. I remember a few years ago Howard Simon was on extolling the virtues of Jenny Craig. I guess that was a short-lived success.
  15. When you hear any of these four guys being interviewed you hear the same themes of discipline, culture, analytics, systems, etc. It is a radical departure from what recent teams of both the Bills and Sabres have exhibited both on and off of the field (ice). Malcolm Gladwell proposed the theory that you need at least 10,000 hours in your chosen field to begin to reach expert status. The Pegulas' have just crossed that threshold and it shows in these recent hires. I believe that we are in the early stages of what will be golden eras for both franchises. You know what? We damned well deserve it!
  16. Seeing as how I am the same age as Housley, I'll take "youngish" as a compliment. Great hire, will be the right guy to build a top defense to compliment the young stars in the forward ranks.
  17. What a sad ending to a long and winding sad life. May you find peace on the other side, James. RIP

  19. I've been waiting for a long time to see this practice put into play. There is no salary cap for coaches and front office personnel, so why not spent to get a team of the very best? I really do believe that a new Golden Age of Bills football is just on the horizon, and no I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid.
  20. Your Bills brothers and sisters are with you in spirit, Blokes. Hate will never win.

  23. I think you're selling him short. He sure looks like a solid top-4 D-man to most observers.
  24. Really nice memorial by Jeff Miers of the Buffalo News. http://buffalonews.com/2017/05/18/chris-cornell-1964-2017/
