  1. I'm going to go ahead and anoint Dahlin a "Once-in-a-Lifetime" talent right now and be done with it.
  2. Not sure, but, like the poster says, The Stoned Age was a better flick in the same genre.
  3. It would be nuts to run the no-huddle with a rookie making his first start in the NFL. Keep it simple, but take a few deep shots because of his cannon of an arm. Btw, an interesting footnote to last week's debacle was the fact that our coaching staff actually had Peterman start the game running a no-huddle. Man, were they way off on their assessment of his ability. It's going to make a great trivia question one day: What NFL QB, with a minimum of 3 starts, had the worst QB rating in the history of the National Football League? (Bonus Info: His coaches actually had him open up in a no-huddle offense in his last start, thus hastening his departure from the league and to his new career in retail).
  4. Blind Willie McTell The Wedding Song Up To Me I'll Keep it with Mine
  5. Peterman has 3 NFL starts and ZERO games completed. Not only can't he win a game, he can't even finish a game. If the Bills brass puts him out there again and he implodes once more, they will take a severe credibility hit. There is only one choice and his name is Josh Allen.
  6. I think people are taking more of an exception to the exaggerated "Sambo-like" features the artist drew. It would have been interesting to see if he drew Serena more life-like, would the race card still have been played.
  7. On a related note: a newspaper in Australia is doubling down in support of its cartoonist's take on the incident. https://www.ktts.com/news/national/serena-williams-cartoon-racist
  8. Yes, Nice to see that Yost will be covering the Sabres on a regular basis. I think people forget how good Eichel and Skinner have been without anyone elite paired with them. Together, they should be dynamite.
  9. Happy Birthday, Scott. Hope your day is awesome.
  10. Reminds me of a story that my boss, who is now a hotel mogul, likes to tell. In 1996, he was working the front desk of a hotel owned by his father. He was in college and starting to feel his oats a bit. A guest called down and said, "I need an Executive Decision." My boss thought, I'm the owner's son, I can handle this, and said, "Sure sir, I can make an Executive Decision for you, what do you need? The guest responded, "No, you idiot, I'm trying to buy the Kurt Russell movie "An Executive Decision" and it won't come through on the pay-per-view box in my room.
  11. Sabres needed to win by six goals or more to take the tournament title ended up cruising to an eight goal differential in this game. The future looks bright!
  12. Somebody pin this thread, it is quickly on its way to epic TSW status.
  13. The Mrs and I are 7 episodes in on season 2 and loving it. Great acting and very well-written.
  14. That is a very powerful line-up by the Sabres, on paper, they should cruise to the title.
  15. I loved Jackie Gleason, cools story, thanks. Here is a great family Guy spoof. Might be NSFW.
  16. Popular? I can't change the dial fast enough when that segment comes on. Simon never picks the Bills for an upset and always has them going 6-10 or 7-9. Radio at at its worst.
  17. I think most Bills fans have adopted the weatherman philosophy: if there is a 30% chance of inclement weather call for a rainy day. If you're right people expected it and are okay. If you're wrong and it's sunny, people are delighted. Now, if you do it the other way and call for sunshine and it pours down buckets of rain, they want your head on a platter.
  18. Was it by a Packers fan there, too.
  19. Fragile - must be Italian. Thanks for the many years of great input, Chandler.
  20. Yeah, you can start with the third quarter and the last drive is one of the most improbable ones you'll ever see end in a TD.
  21. Well, that was an unexpected, wildly-entertaining finish to the preseason.
  22. Well, then you definitely have no idea what the "Rope a Dope" reference means.
  23. RIP, a true American War Hero.
  24. There is only one thing that you need to know about Mike Schoop: After Ralph died and before Terry Pegula materialized as a potential bidder and it was a widely-held sentiment that the Bills would be bought and relocated, Schoop went on the air and stated that if he was a billionaire he wouldn't buy the team because they " just don't matter that much to me." Now if I was the station manager I would have immediately terminated his contract and freed him up to follow his passions elsewhere. Is there anyone on this board that wouldn't have saved the Bills if you had the billions to do so?
