He was talked about being #1 in the 2014 draft on some teams boards and looked to go in the top 5 easily. He fell to #13 I believe?
I thought the Bills were going to possibly grab him before we traded up for Sammy when we held the #8 pick. Possibly wasn't on our radar because we had Dareus. It goes back to that BPA theory? Just some thoughts. Fyi, I am not against the Sammy trade. But, it is going swimmingly, that's for sure.
Most of the really good/great teams use motion! I would love to see more and more. It strongly helps great QBs like Manning and Brady to make good decisions. Simple really.
Well said, totally agree!
For your GM to trade up for the highest rated WR they had in a decade is not a fireable offense. That is silly. Sometimes it doesn't work. He makes a lot moves, they don't all pan out.
Agreed, is it that tough to understand. Well, we simplified/streamlined the offense and won the last two weeks. So, what are you talking about.
We moved the ball. Had ball control. Less 3 and outs. And, won. What is the problem?
Disagree. A variable was changed and improvements were made. QB is not the issue. TT still has to keep learning and improving, but, it wasn't happening in the previous system. IMO now we can figure out if TT can continue to improve.
I don't like Rex. With that said. I think he CAN be a decent HC if...
He tries and puts the time in CONSISTENTLY that it takes to be a successful NFL coach
Is open to adapting and not trying g to force his system. Keep the ego in check.
Coach/Manage the team thru his coaches and not try to do everything himself. It seems the last 10 days was a step in that direction.
Extremely, cautiously optimistic. But, believe Rex will go back to his old ways more often than not.
