  1. I think you are a little off and reaching. Especially since Wood is offense and Schwartz coaches defense.
  2. Agree on Marrone and Hackett. We haven't given up a passing TD in month and maybe scored up two offensive TDs in the same time span. Marrone doesn't run the D but he does run the offense. So how is it that he is a good HC. If we had Schwartz still as DC and a different coach with this roster we would probably finish the year 12-4 versus probably finishing 9-7....I hope 10-6. But that means Marrone will probably lose us 3 games and win us none! Not good!
  3. After reading all these posts I have changed my opinion. I think our offense is fine and actually closer to being considered elite. We should change nothing in the offseason. Give Marrone and extension, Hackett a raise and hope our QB situation improves on its own. Maybe even put 2 QBs on the PS so we can have depth. PS. Let's acquire a bunch of guys that Marrone won't play because he is smarter than everyone and he needs to prove it to himself above anything else.
  4. He will NOT be a better pro than Luck. What makes you think he will be a better pro than Luck?
  5. I want the Bills to resign Dareus in the offseason. I would think it will be $100 million and we need to put stipulations in the contract so he doesn't get lazy or have issues with the personal conduct policy. The resign Hughes. We have some players we can cut to free up space too such as Lawson, Pears and a couple others. We will have $35 million in space. Resigning Dareus and Hughes will take about $12 million from the $35 ( based on their current contracts and their new contracts). So, $23 million left. I would like them to sign a big time playmaker to make a big impact. It could be a number of positions.
  6. That is 3 years away. It doesn't need addressed. But to play along with you...his production will probably drop by then. So to resign him for 2 years and less per year may be an option for him and us.
  7. Buddy did too and it is quite common in the League. But, I agree I strongly lime Whaley.
  8. With the ownership change I doubt that is the case anymore.
  9. Actually, further explanation and thought process would strongly be preferred!
  10. Nope...Marrone is still here!! Agreed....bizarre events. That's funny
  11. IMHO...teams take on the personalities of their coach and their opinions. So, it is just my thoughts but I am guessing the coaches preach taking care of the ball to a fault. For example, coaches should not scare or worry their players about making some mistakes. They need to learn from them and improve by doing so....to a degree. Manuel and Orton both threw down field more when they took over as starter and then slowly regressed. Maybe Marrone and Hackett are too passive and preaching the wrong things and the players are playing on eggshells instead of playing. Maybe with the Oline too? Remember Kujo's comments earlier in the season. And Manuel's when he was removed as starter. I don't think Schwartz has the defense playing like this, fyi. Thoughts?
  12. For sure. It is another example of DM putting square pegs in round holes and not letting petsonel dictate systems. He tries to force his systems with the wrong personel for them. His ego and stubbornness is much bigger than his brain. Agree
  13. We have all seen what kind of coach he is. You haven't seen many games if you haven't seen enough of Doug Marrone to know what kind of coach he is.
  14. I am not saying Gailey is better. I am saying Marrone should be able to adapt to the players he has and the O line should be able to do better with what it has. And Marrone is an O line coach. However, if Gailey had this defense he would have done better.
  15. I like most of it. I think Chandler is worth keeping at that price. I would like him to be our 2 nd TE though.
  16. I like it
  17. I think you are way off. Jmo I stopped reading when you said he has done a lot with what he was dealt. For two reasons. One we have the talent to make the playoffs on the roster. How is that a challenge. Secondly...an even better example....our O line that everyone says is bad has 4 of the 5 starters from Gailey's era. That was a good O line and now it is bad? Marrone is an O line coach! He can't adapt or more importantly chooses not to adapt. He is stubborn. He consistently tries to put square pegs in round holes. Marrone is coaching the best roster we have had in a long time and under achieving with it. That is how good the roster is and how bad we have been in the past. We will go 8-8...maybe 9-7 but it will not be due to Marrone.
