I also can't agree with that. Agree with all. -

Sal Capaccio interview with Doug Marrone on WGR

Agreed -
Really.....the first reply to thread is either way off topic or huge sarcasm to mislead? Why bother!

Whaley! Not even close!

Marrone & Hackett ruined Spiller as a Bill.
Manther replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We never do what? Line up or RB as a WR or score a touchdown? So true....fact. -
True....I thought it was really odd when he said he hasn't looked into the off season about who they have for QB next year. The weird part was he then said I haven't talked to Whaley or Russ about it either. I thought Russ had nothing to do with football anymore? I think it shows also that Marrone is Russ Brandon's boy and he was the one who hired him. Time for Russ and Marrone to go. I am sure Russ will stay and just hope Marrone is gone.

If Marrone stays (and I want him gone) I would love to get some insight into the Bills training camp!

Agreed and well said. Also, the D will age.

Would You Want Rex Ryan As HC For The Bills?
Manther replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Rex is an above average coach. If it wasn't for the side show he creates around him I think he is worth having as HC. However, I want an offensive HC. -
Doug Marrone and Offensive line
Manther replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He didn't want to stay in Buffalo. He left for SD with our O line coach. Its been discussed for two years. -
Option needing offensive over haul is my vote too....please add option and I will vote.

Jets bring in Casserly as a consultant
Manther replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There was initial talk of the Bills hiring a consultant which I think is great. Then we heard nothing. My opinion is we have hired someone on the down low and they have been evaluating and its my hope too. Selling propaganda starting with Brandon. With this roster talent we underachieved. Simple... -
I don't think you need bring up Christ since God clearly isn't a Bills fan.

Brandon is a Big part of the problem
Manther replied to Toledo Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Geepers, I read Hackett before the Oakland game stating the Bills offense just needs more time and continuity. Now Brandon is teaching and training the staff members he has his name on (being Marrone and Hackett) slinging propaganda now. Did they have a meeting to figure out the best way to all keep their jobs that isn't Whaley and the Defensive staff. Keep Whaley and the Defensive staff and get rid of the crap everywhere else including Brandon. I don't care if Brandon isn't even on the football side any more, can him! Just the fact he has been lying, cheating and stealing from us Bills fans for far too long! -
That's funny. Doesn't fit the system? You call this offense a system? I hate when teams in sport get rid of players because they don't fit the system. You need to find the route of the problem and fix that and then work backwards. For example, the Bills needed a change in ownership to change the culture in the organization. It starts at the top, anything in between is just spraying a pig with perfume, it still stinks. So, I would hate to just lose players with talent and potential because the real route of the problem is Marrone and his so called systems. I am not saying Spiller is great or ideal. Or necessarily any of these guys are....but, are we going to lose 5 or 10 offensive players because Marrone doesn't think they work in his system that doesn't work?! Are we going to lose Spiller, Goodwin, Mike Williams, and more because they don't work out with Marrone and his system? And then realize Marrone is not good enough and try to stack pile more talent to replace the archaic players Marrone wanted and played? Geepers when Marrone eventually leaves we will probably have 6 TEs on the team by then and play 4 of them at once and two the only play STs. Wouldn't put it past Marrone to dress 6 TEs at some point.

Agreed. He catches well.
-
Agreed. If we don't change our playbook or change coaches we shouldn't bother with him. Sure...but space isn't having 5 Olinemen, two TE and bringing a WR in motion into block for a total of 8 blockers then having the D have 8 in the box. Then asking Spiller to run up the middle past 16 large men! That is barely football it is just Math! I am not a strong technical football guy....but just marking down X and O's and doing Math I could create more space than Marrone and Hackett. Seriously, am I right or way off?

Doug Marrone and Offensive line
Manther replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't want to draft three more Olinemen and two more FAs because Marrone can't figure it out. Not without a new HC and OC....otherwise we would waste those 5 first rounders. -
Hackett leaving Henderson out to dry
Manther replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your last sentence is spot on and its sad for us while we watch Hackett fail at his living dream at our expense!! -

I have a lot of faith in Whaley but not Marrone. My concern would be if Whaley lets Marrone stay that after Marrone disappoints again next year based on the talent on the roster that both get fired and we lose our best GM in 15 years. Anyone can complain that we need a QB, G, and TE. But , what team has everything. Marrone is not a cutting edge HC as he suggested...he is archaic. Regardless, any average coach had the talent on this roster to get into the playoffs. Marrone is below average and we didn't. Even with shortcomings on offense the talent on offense is enough to be top 15 right? If you argue that it is for the sake of arguing. I have a lot of faith in Whaley but not Marrone.
