  1. This signing helps us get a comp. pick next year. I think.
  2. I would guess, EJ 40%, Cassel 30%, Taylor 30%, Tuel 0%.
  3. I see what you are saying. Its not a bad idea especially if you can shake on it now. But, how does resigning Spikes count against us?
  4. We Billieve!! We deserve!! Let's enjoy the ride!! Yes!
  5. If we can make the cap work I would take him. BUT, restructuring Mario is not the way to make the cap work for this move. I believe we can re sign Dareus no matter what IF we use restructuring Mario in our back pocket. If we use it early it might be the first time I think we risk the future. That being Dareus or losing other players at Evans expense. I guess gaining Evans and cutting him after a year or restructuring could be an option? What does $8.7 dead money do to our cap if we cut him next year. And, is that worth a 5 the round pick?
  6. A coward dies a thousand deaths. A hero Fies but once!
  7. No, I think he will be a bust.
  8. I think Funchess will be there. Not sure if he is a plsynskrt or difference maker to take mid 2nd round.
  9. Boldin is one or two years from retirement. Probably will not be as effective as Woods let alone worth a roster spot.
  10. I think that would be a silly trade on the Bills part.
  11. Shouldn't the title of the thread be Take a flyer on Michael Sam, not IN Michael Sam. Sorry, couldn't resist. But, seriously, if he is invited to camp at League minimum, sure. Other than that, no thanks. I am much more responsive to a Michael Sam thread and take it more serious when it is not, "let's replace Jerry Hughes with Michael Sam" !!
  12. Hmmmm, maybe get a Mathis thrown in the deal? Blockbuster?
  13. That is a very good point!! With that said, maybe we should try to lock him into a long-term deal before his BEST season which is coming with Rex?
  14. For the League minimum it couldn't hurt. We have to fill the roster anyways.
  15. This is an interesting take on it, but, probably closer to the reality than farther away.
  16. True, possible and could happen for a late round pick. Agreed!!
  17. I don't see any humour on this.
  18. I agree the Texans could rivals ours, but, they need to stay healthy and play well together. 4 or 5 weeks into the season may be a different conversation, but, currently, the Bills are the best IMO.
  19. Clearly! What a silly thread! Just silly, clown!
  20. Should of, would of, could of...just be happy with some great moves. I am also confident we did better than if you were our GM. I am very confident in that especially when you brought up Tebow. So, by my calculations (which are rough ones) we are close to getting a compensatory pick next year. It only includes UFAs and RFAs that contracts expired. So, for example, Harvin was cut so that doesn't count. Incognito was bagging groceries, so, that does not count. So, this is what I see... Gains Jerome Felton Tyrod Taylor Charles Clay Losses Da'Norris Searcy Erik Pears CJ Spiller Lee Smith As of today, we qualify for a comp pick. Someone can still sign Brandon Spikes too. Also, we may sign another player or two (not sure). Gaining comp picks is another sign of a franchise that has built their team from the ground up and is a top tier team. The top teams consistently gain comp picks because they improve from within, can't keep all the talent they have developed and other teams want their players.
  21. He will regret monetarily turning us down HOWEVER maybe he didn't receive that offer. My GUESS is he didn't receive it OR his agent is terrible and doesn't understand the market.
  22. I sort of agree with waiting on Glenn UNLESS we can steal him for a great value contract. With that steal IF it were to happen we can have a great value for a strong LT OR a market value G. Maybe we could sign him for $6-8 million. IF we could do $7 million I would do it now.
