Agreed! Gepers, in Gilmore's second year early he was having similar mistakes and folks were calling bust. It's so early with CBs. But, they can learn from their mistakes quickly SOMETIMES. Hopefully Darby does quickly or we may have to try someone further down on the depth chart or move Graham. With that said, I think he will be more than fine long term.

Brad Butler was a decent player before he unexpectedly retired early to go to law school or becone a government official? I think he perfectly fits on the list! I think he even retired after the draft and before the season. You don't mean Joique Bell do you? Watson the punt catcher as apposed to the punt returner?!

I think your 53 man roster is very close to our probable roster, if not the roster or one change away. I personally would cut Hogan and keep Dezmin Lewis. We are going to be very run heavy and still tossing the ball down field when they start playing aggressive against the run and will toss some deep balls. I just don't see too many balls to go around with 5 WRs (Easley is STs), so to have Hogan as a back ups, back up I would prefer to go with a project with very high upside! We are going to have tough decisions with a quality roster like ours. I don't think Seward or Dezmin Lewis will be able to be stashed on our PS. I also don't think Meeks will make the team, but, another one of the safeties will being Rambo. I can see us going with 6 CBs. But, not sure if it will be Cockrell, Brooks or Butler cut. I think it will be Brooks cut. Congrats on your 5000th post as well! I think Cassel's cap savings is about $4.5 million. And, we take no cap hit as Minnesota already absorbed it. I do believe IF Cassel is the 3rd QB we should cut him and use the money to offset some of Dareus' signing bonus by moving it up a year.

I would trade Manuel AND Brown for a 3rd rounder IF Manuel is in line to be the third string QB (or cut). I don't think anyone would give that to us. We don't need Manziel back in the trade (unless Cleveland wants us too). But, I don't think there is any market for Brown and Manuel would have a very minor market if any.
