I get drug tested pretty regularly for work. I’ve come up diluted a cpl times. Simply drinking excess water to pee for the test. Ridiculous that’s already exposed to the public court of opinion. Test the guy again before you release this.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t like the example. When Mahomes and co. were drafted, the Bills were going through a complete front office, head coach, gm transition. McD was a new hire, Doug Whaley was walking deadman about to get canned, and Beane was hired post-draft. The intel and scouting of quarterbacks that year was extremely limited and brief bc of that. I’m sure there was a lack of trust. You can tell by the pick that McD had his hands all over the draft. He picked a safe option to him, inside his spec of knowledge...defensive secondary. It worked out in the sense they got an all-pro player at a valuable position, but the transition in the building lended to an inability to tie the franchise to certain players, being changes in culture, scheme fits, etc. I can understand blaming the initial hire of Rex for certain things that happened in the future, but I can’t hold the current hierarchy responsible for that “miss.”

I’m starting to jones for Claypool at 54, and I’m hoping for Kyle Dugger in the 3rd. I’m squarely with Beane though, I trust him. My guess is we’ll have 2 picks in the 3rd round somehow.

I’m dying for champions league to return. Crossing my fingers but traveling between countries might be a non-starter. As a Bayern fan, having a real shot this year, it would be a big blow.

Bundesliga is loosely scheduled to return next month. That’s the German soccer league for you non-footy fans. Maybe a few of you will pick up a new sport to watch. Games are on FS1 and FS2 when it does return, albeit it w/o fans, which is one of the best part of European football.

I’d hafta go back and listen to what Beane had said during that press conference recently to tell you what he said verbatim, but essentially yes. Eh, doesn’t need to be a veteran, or a slow guy. I just think they want a guy that can slam the ball in there when the situation calls for someone to move the pile. Somebody with a little more size than Singletary at 5’7” 200lbs. I think it’s nice to have some variance in the backfield, same as you like to have in your receiver core.

Bills want a downhill runner to compliment Devin. That came out of Beane’s mouth. That’s why Gore played over Yeldon. There will be a downhill runner added to this roster.

Still follow Zay on IG...he posts his workouts with Carr almost daily. I really wish he’d be able to game like he practices but for whatever reason it just doesn’t translate. Seems like a nice kid though, rooting for him.

Late bloomer in most senses when it comes to his football acumen, but, he’s smart, mobile, coachable, has incredible arm talent, a leader, a learner, a gamer, competitive, has ideal size, and all the intangibles. As long as he continues to work at it, I think he’s the answer. It’s just not immediate like a few other guys that played in power 5 conferences.

Cooks is a very good player. You can’t deny his talent and production. Unfortunately, 4 concussions is nothing to play around with, and had a big impact on him last season. Don’t know what can happen with the next one...

Use the draft chart to determine the amount of draft points the 4th, 5th and 6th round picks equate to. Those points will tell you how far you’d be able to move up the draft board. Using Beane’s logic that he’d only be interested in 1 of the top 2 receivers, you’ll be able to see how far the draft point capital would allow you to move up from pick 22. Seems as most ppl have said this would be pick 18, do you still think it’s overpaying? On top of the that, we had multiple picks in those rounds. The idea of collecting Excess draft capital is to be able to parlay them into quality players. We did just that.

I did search’s on both emails that I use. I found nothing, put a call into my acct manager, they’re out obviously due to covid. Sent an email, got no response. I figured something went haywire with everything going on.

Big reason I believe the FO did what they did in free agency. With a condensed schedule, it’s going to be harder than ever for rookies to contribute.
