  1. Orton time for me...And what the heck happened to Watkin's hands? He dropped at least four catch-able balls didn't he? You must be a Browns fan?
  2. I was never a big fan as he was overpowered a lot, but I would love to have him at LG right now!
  3. I do, because I like the attitude his D brings. I am fine with current D, stopping the run is huge! Wish we were more aggressive with our DBs at the line of scrimmage and rushed 5-6 guys more often. Our DBs have the speed to recover and they have to recover anyways when they play off the WRs.
  4. With our OL I think you need to throw the ball early so as to enable the run. If we come out trying to jam the ball, on Texans home turf, I think we get stonewalled. Quick short and medium throws mixed with occasional screens. Run the boys deep and let it fly once or twice too...
  5. Never been to GB but Buffalo is tops in my books for tailgating! I have been to KC and they do a nice job, but a distant second to Buffalo. Chicago has no tailgate area. I usually had to park in a garage! Cleveland's set up is ok but is very broken up aside from the main lot. No comparison. Go Bills!
  6. Sorry, no. We reached for each and every OL pick up until Henderson and now we're getting what we paid for, two zero talent OLmen that are healthy scratches. Cryil and Cyrus. Now we have a serious issue with a starting QB that would probably be cut from 50% of the other rosters in the league and no number one next year. A WR who may be special some day, but Benjamin sure looks as good and he didn't cost and extra #1. "OL can be found later in the draft" no need to "waste" picks on OL. Sound familiar to some of you??? Over-rated OL, with under achieving QB....God help us..
  7. OL is simply pathetic. Henderson is surviving at RT but OGs are not viable. No one on the waiver wire? I thought OGs were a dime a dozen? We only need two! Cyril and Cyrus aren't rated above Pears? Maybe Marrone needs to suit up? Jets are gonna have a field day against these guys!
  8. Team loss at home. Very disappointing. Stick with EJ for now. He has to learn from this, but the loss is not his fault. OLine was pathetic. Coaching was worse. Coverage, well...what coverage? Very sad..
  9. I suppose the draw is to see NE and Brady rather than which is the better game. Neither Buffalo nor SD carry much interest nationally. Likewise, the Raiders will always be "the Raiders" and have national interest. Too bad...I'll be at a sports bar for sure, go Bills!
  10. 12th man needs to bring it! Go Bills! Crush them early and hurt them often! Go Bills!!
  11. Ummm...I thought this was sarcasm. Led Zep. I feel like Sheldon here....
  12. I'd never deny your right to listen to sh*tty music...But please, don't!
  13. Yep, I agree on all counts. I would have liked to see them air out a couple more deep throws. Barely missed to Watkins the one time EJ went deep. Err on the side of overthrowing Goodwin or Watkins and let them go get it... Keeps the D honest.
  14. I'll take the win for sure, but line play was not good. Bears D-line isn't very good either. We'll see how they do as the season progresses. There is a lot of room for improvement and I don't doubt that they can improve as these guys play more together. Pears looked really out of place though. I hope the rookies get better and can step in at guard...
  15. Just enjoy the win! First time ever in Chicago. Check out this write up from Chi-town! https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCsQqQIwAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chicagotribune.com%2Fsports%2Frosenblog%2Fchi-bears-lose-to-bills-20140907-column.html&ei=kvMMVLm5AaHCsATC2YLQBA&usg=AFQjCNGePC_Maz0jEZ0LSwfDX_ni8e3B3Q
  16. I thought the line play was below average. Glenn's play was very good, the rest of the line was weak. He carried the line. Ironically, I thought their individual play was pretty much in order from left to right. I might switch Pears and Henderson, but both were very poor. Pears whiffing on blocks and Henderson holding. He's gonna need big help next week. When Hairston played as a third tackle, he missed key blocks too. Williams was ok and compared to previous LGs he was solid. Woods did not really have a game to write home about. Both Cryus and Cyril were healthy scratches. Why do you think that was?
  17. It is what it is and we've got what we've got. Time to play ball! Go Bills!!
