  1. Although I hate to see him go too, his YAC were dismal as a result of his lack of athleticism. You could time with a sundial the time it took him to change direction after a catch and start moving. Big target, average hands but no potential for turning the dump off into a big gain. I do wish him well in every game except against us!
  2. Definitely the AFC Championship game verses the Raiders. I won our company lottery for their seats on the 50 and froze my butt off! Great, great memories and for me, pre, during and post game, The game of the ages!
  3. Same - I don't even want to know what it says, but I did almost kick it too...
  4. Geez, never thought I'd agree with anyone in Philly...
  5. You mean after The Ralph! Used to live in KC (OP) and went to a few games. Parking is ample, tailgating is good, Easy in and out. Never stayed at hotels near by, but they would be across the highway and not easily accessible. Not the best or worst area of KC. I'd either stay downtown at the Power and Light District if you like to bar hop or at Country Club Plaza if you like to shop. AH is very very loud. The gold level seats are corporate boxes and pretty empty most of the time. The stadium is loud because they want to be known as the loudest and pump in high decibels through the PA system to obnoxiously loud levels. Fans won't bother you as long as your respectful. All in all, my second favorite stadium to visit so far. (Meadowlands, Candlestick(old), Cleveland (new and old), St Louis, Oakland, Soldier Field (before and after) Washington, Three Rivers).
  6. Let's say 11-5 as the upside. 9-7 the down. OL gels and the sky's the limit even with average QB play.
  7. BPA and sign a vet OL. Cut Williams. Like to see a LB or S or maybe a DL.
  8. At home with my family and a large supply of wings, pizza and beer.
  9. Look at what Mario pays in property tax! And how did he steal a $1.5MM home for less than $0.5MM?
  10. I think we will be fine at QB as long as the OL comes together and gives whomever time to throw. I wouldn't trade for Dalton. FA next year if we are still looking.
  11. Damn - thanks for the memories! Juice was the best I ever saw, TT not close as a pure RB. Barry Sanders was the only other back I ever watched who might have been a match. Walter was close...I never really saw Jim Brown...IMO the juice was lights out the best ever!....Truly a shame the way it ended...
  12. I don't disagree with you, but the premise made during the segment was that they have a very good OL returning. They may evolve into a good line, but as you say they need time to evolve and gel. I think abandoning the zone blocking scheme and having TEs to block will help a great deal. Time will tell!
  13. Very good OL? Sorry, they lose all credibility with that one! I'm really hoping for low average which represents a dramatic improvement but still hardly qualifies as very good..
  14. My favorite was letting Pears go...Simple math...Addition by subtraction.
  15. Cassel - serviceable veteran backup to EJ.
  16. I don't think the talent level at OL is as bad as it looked in 2014. It can't be. Moving away from zone blocking to a N/S gap scheme will help our guys. You need athletes to play a zone scheme and we don't have them. That said, a dominant OL can block straight ahead as long as they are big, strong and use good technique and understand leverage (get low). I'd like them to add another FA OL for competition and then figure out who the best five are to start. Clay at TE and RI at OG are instant upgrades. We might not be in as bad a shape as many believe. 11 wins is possible with an average to good OL. Our D improves just by having a better OL. Our RB and QB play too.
  17. With Miami signing Cameron, Clay seems more likely to sign. Any cap space left after Harvin?
  18. Why is that Johnny? Maybe you could expound on your thoughts?
  19. It may be time to move on from FJ. Watching him last year was painful. He has lost at least a step and probably more. Loved him his whole career here, but at some point it is just time to move on. I wouldn't be disappointed keeping him as a luxury and as a leader for the young guys, but he adds less value each year as a viable RB. I know it sucks, but we all get old.
  20. Yes, I'd sign him at a reasonable price, but someone is going to over pay him and regret it!
  21. What's really impressive to me is how far we have moved since the passing of Ralph (GRHS). Complete paranoia about a pop star buying and moving our team to where we are now. Thanks again Terry!
  22. @buffalobills swap their 1st 2015 5th-round pick for @Vikings 2015 6th-rounder and give Min a 2016 7th-rounder for Matt Cassel @NFLonFOX
