Stevie Johnson Trade Value
Doug Flutie Band replied to Doug Flutie Band's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why do you assume I am emotionally upset at Stevie? Seems like a strange assumption. He's not that good and isn't a good fit for this team moving forward. The writing is on the wall. It's better to get a 4th than nothing for him. -
What do you think we can get for him? He's clearly on the way out with Woods and Goodwin showing rookie chemistry with EJ and signing Williams and now drafting Watkins. I would be happy to get a 3rd rounder and be rid of him.

there is a decent chance one of these guys is there: 6. Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan 7. Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M 8. Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina 9. Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame 10. Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M 11. C.J. Mosley, LB, Alabama and if one of them is there i think buffalo takes them

My issue with trading up
Doug Flutie Band replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
there really are no trade up scenarios that make any kind of real world sense less than 5% chance of them moving up in the first round -
http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/0ap2000000344895/article/2014-nfl-draft-tiers-elite-prospects-blue-chips-and-red-chips This article identifies these seven players as the elite prospects in the draft: 1) Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina 2) Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn 3) Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson 4) Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo 5) Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M 6) Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M 7) Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina I tend to agree here and would be thrilled if any of these guys were there at 9 and the Bills selected them. Obviously Ebron is the most likely to be there, and there is somewhat of a chance Matthews or Evans could be there. This next group is listed as blue chip: 1) Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M 2) Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh 3) Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville 4) Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA 5) Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan 6) Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama 7) Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State 8) Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville 9) C.J. Mosley, LB, Alabama 10) Marqise Lee, WR, USC 11) Odell Beckham, WR, LSU 12) Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State 13) Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State 14) Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State 15) Zack Martin, OL, Notre Dame 16) Blake Bortles, QB, UCF 17) Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG, UCLA 18) Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State I suspect Taylor Lewan has a good chance of being the pick. There are some other names on the list that I wouldn't be shocked to see the Bills take either. I hope they get Matthews, but I suspect he will be gone and they will pass on Ebron to take Lewan and they will end up regretting it.

Jim Irsay: story developing?
Doug Flutie Band replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is out of control. The players are going to be insulted by how little Goodell does, but in reality Goodell works for the owners. A little voluntary rehab should be all Irsay needs to do to atone in the league's eyes (assuming no criminal wrongdoing on this dead woman front). -

Donald Trump asked to invest in the Bills
Doug Flutie Band replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TMZ reached out to the owner of the Dallas Mavericks to ask him about Trump's potential interest in purchasing the Buffalo Bills. Cuban reportedly responded by saying, "He cant afford them by himself. So it would be interesting to see what group he put together to buy them. It would make things interesting." Apparently, Trump wasn't too happy with those comments, and fired back at Cuban accordingly: Mark Cuban is a lightweight whose net worth is a fraction of mine. He was rejected by baseball and probably plenty of others! By the way, I watched him play golf and he is a total non-athlete – zero clubhead speed. He lives vicariously through his basketball players. By the way, the Dallas Mavericks deal is syndicated and his partners have been fighting him over poor management. While the Bills deal would be easily handled by me, if I chose to do it, almost all sports deals are syndicated. -
