  1. AWFUL headline their blatant self-aggrandizement is in very poor taste
  2. thad is fine as a backup they dont need to worry about backup qb they need to worry about STARTING qb
  3. The amount of self righteousness in this thread is ridiculous. Some people are acting like posters are at his actual funeral discussing how to split up his estate in front of his grieving family. Get a grip, it's an internet forum. Bills fans are wondering about the future of the team and want to discuss the topic with other like minded fans. If you are using this situation as an opportunity to look down at other people and tell them they aren't classy, well, there is a terrible irony in that.
  4. There is no point in bringing in Pryor. Even if he is a very slight upgrade to Lewis or Tuel, what is the point really? If EJ doesn't have a good season in 2014 the Bills are going no where. Adding a guy that has shown he isn't a starting caliber NFL QB into the mix just doesn't really improve the team. Plus, he kind of has the stench of failure on him. If he were to come here, it would kind of look like no one else would take the bum so he had to shuffle off to Buffalo. It's just not a great look for the franchise.
  5. it would be great to take a qb there SO much value if the bills drafted bridgewater and never played him they could probably trade him for TWO #1s after the season
  6. kenny britt is USELESS this would be a terrible terrible signing
  7. Byrd HAS to say he is open to returning to the team. If he said otherwise he would lose negotiating leverage. If Buffalo does make him a juicy offer, that only further helps him get a better deal with another team. We all want Byrd to stay but I think we'll just have to be happy with Williams.
  8. If this were to go up on a sportsbook today, what do you think is a fair over/under for games started by Manuel in 2014?
  9. Come gather 'round people Wherever you roam And admit that the waters Around you have grown And accept it that soon You'll be drenched to the bone If your time to you Is worth savin' Then you better start swimmin' Or you'll sink like a stone For the times they are a-changin'.
  10. i opened this forum and was momentarily shocked to see a thread criticizing the refs for the way they called the superbowl since it was a well called game and the officials were a non-factor... ... but then i remembered this is TBD and this kind of tomfoolery is what is to be expected around here
  11. im kind of shocked im not saying he isnt deserving i just really didnt think it was gonna ever happen at this point
  12. CLEVELAND -- Browns coach Mike Pettine hired Jim O'Neil as his defensive coordinator on Monday, reuniting him with the coach who helped him turn around Buffalo's defense last season. Pettine also retained special teams coordinator Chris Tabor from Rob Chudzinski's staff. In addition, Pettine plucked assistants Chuck Driesbach (linebackers), Brian Fleury (assistant linebackers coach) and Jeff Hafley (secondary) off the staff he worked on in Buffalo as defensive coordinator. he took half the damn staff
  13. the players introducing themselves on SNF/MNF were my favorite
  14. schwartz is a GREAT hire things were looking quite bleak i wouldnt have been surprised if they just promoted from within and pettine left us with a gaping hole to bring in someone with good experience but that isnt clearly washed up and has some credibility to their name is great news and honestly much better than i expected ya, i have my reservations and questions about how it will work out, but it could have been MUCH worse
  15. pettine is going to steal jim o'neil as long as he gives him a promotion in title he is allowed to poach him
  16. oh by the way Pettine will probably steal Jim O'Neil too maybe the Browns can sign Jairus while they are it and really twist the knife
  17. ya just bring in a new owner a new gm a new head coach a new qb and then fill in a variety of position players around them and the bills are almost right there! easy peasy
  18. you are doing it all wrong dr trooth here is what i do: i ACCEPT that the bills stink and will continue to stink - they are a bottom tier franchise in the league and that is not debatable you view them as the loveable losers and dont get delusional with playoff talk you just hope they win some close exciting games and maybe take a run at beating the patriots then, you watch lots of other games, play fantasy football, and develop favorite teams and individual player around the league and watch them for example, i love drew brees - i watch a lot of saints games and just love rooting for that guy. the seahawks are my 2nd favorite team and i am rooting for them hard this weekend. teams i kinda like include: saints packers seahawks colts broncos teams i tend to root against include: patriots jets dolphins steelers texans cowboys 49ers the bills arent like a bad marriage, they are like a bad FAMILY MEMBER. you cant divorce them, you just have to accept it and learn to live with it. also if you go from the bills to the steelers you were NEVER a real bills fan never.
  19. belichek def top coach of the recent era is he ahead of lombardi/walsh/parcells all time? thats hard to say but hes certainly in the discussion there are SO many trends that go around the nfl in offensive and defensive schemes that seem to get pioneered up in new england
