The NFL view on its rules problems.

Until I see Blake Bortles in a big spot I am not sold on Jacksonville.

Is somebody on here arguing that it isn't a rule? I haven't seen it. I see 90% of the people arguing that they hate the same stupid rules and the league continuing to do damage control all the time and not having change should be made.

This season has to be one of the great travesties ever in terms of one team benefiting from changed calls in their favor. Just awful that Patriots get all three. I promise if this happens to the Bills they will lose another fan.

I asked Dean Blandino for an explanation but I'm not holding my breath. I'm expecting crickets much like Dunkirk Don when he has no answers.

I want Patriots/NFL/Rules shill to explain why this was ok. I'm sure there's a good reason! Pats would 9-5 and not 11-3 without this call and yesterdays calls.

You can bet we'll never see Preston in that situation again. Time to move on to Deondre Coleman on the hands team.

To me the point isn't that you can't interret the rule technically to reverse the call. It is that if someone had touched him it would have been a catch and ball inside the 1. Instead he tries to score and the ball moves so now its not a catch. And, its not a fumble because the ground can't cause a fumble. I don't know about you but that is one hell of a supersede rule. I mean I knew they were emphasizing the passing game but jeez.

Every wonderful and magical touchdown catch you remember from your childhood, every last one, would be ruled incomplete in today's NFL.

I know the rule and its implementation. The rule is dumb. My issue with that play specifically is he wasn’t completing a catch; he broke plane as runner with intent. Because if he would have been touched before, he would have been down and it a catch. Thus, catch completed.

Undisciplined rabble it was they look like too me. And, when the talent is not as strong due to age and injury it catches up to you.

I would say the rules, the refs and Dean Blandino Commissioner. Biggest weaknesses in the NFL.

NFL Rules joke never stops amazing! Years ago I would've been pissed...now I just laugh because that was a catch. The rules just deny reality. Dumb.

It doesn't matter because they are going to lose to the Steelers.
