This dude looked pretty good the other night!
I picked McCoy, Chudz is the fall back and Rudolph. I believe there is a chance it is Allen instead. With these guys come Alex Smith, or maybe a Minnesota QB instead IMO
Bingo!
I also think that those who believe/want TT back need to remember that he is due a 6 million dollar bonus in mid march. And, he is an 18M cap hit.....No way he's back!!!
My current plan after much thought is....are you listening McBeane?
1.Trade a 3&5 for A. Smith
2. Draft Rudolph with #21
3. Hire Sean Ryan or a younger, creative mind
4. build up the front 7 and OL
5. hope to catch a few flyers elsewhere (RB,WR,DB)
Thanks. I agree with what you are saying about a creative, young OC. I felt that way last year and was in favor of hiring McVay. Also liked Watson, but I let myself get talked out of it by the talking heads. Not again. I have tried to watch all the QBs you mentioned and agree with Rosen being tops...but not getting him. I think we need to get a veteran QB and then draft someone like Rudolph perhaps.
I get it so you would like an outside the box thinker who will be able to design an offense to help develop a young QB from the draft. Who is your guy this year amongst the QBs? You liked Watson last year if I recall correctly.
Before I trade any picks for the college guys....I'm checking on Andruw Luck first. Maybe just maybe Colts like Brissett and having multiple number 1s.
No to Tolbert and Tate....not even for free! Thompson and Gaines at the right price. Kyle at reduced rate. Leonard Johnson is decent and cheap. Matthews and Brown will cost too much for what they do.
You run that ball on first and goal at 1. And, probably even on second. Dennison should be and will be fired. Taylor as well. Not good enough we can do better.
