  1. Are the Broncos out on Cousins or something? If they draft Mayfield at 5 why would they need Keenum?
  2. Limited upside-Pass.....give me more arm talent than I've seen from him
  3. You're on and you need only 2 in top 10.
  4. Or 4 will be selected in the first 6 picks. I think that is more likely than only 2 in top 10. We'll see these guys may be better than you think.
  5. I think people are underestimating Beane and his aggressiveness. He did after all make some big moves to move guys off the roster. And, he has stated on multiple occasions that getting a franchise QB is a must for him. He knows waiting and hoping isn't a good strategy to find one.
  6. I see Mason Rudolph as having maxed out in college by the system he played in and has a low ceiling. I just think his arm is kinda meh for a first round projection. Not saying he shouldn't be drafted...but not in the Top 50.
  7. B..B..But Dunkirk Don said we are on to Case Keenum or one of the Vikings guys after Smith scared them off I think we need to watch the Denver- Cousins and #5 being the Bills sweet spot. Darnold, Allen, Chubb, Barkley are first 4 picks then we take Rosen on a trade with Denver!
  8. He's my boy. Best DT in the draft in imo. He has upside as an inside pass rusher as well.
  9. That was my thought as well. As to the question of trading up into the top 5, you may be correct. However, I'm starting to think Denver is the sweet spot and only if they succeed in FA. 1&4 Cle Darnold &Barkley 2 NYG Allen 3 Indy Chubb 5 Buf trade w/Den after they sign Cousins Denver needs OL help and could really get it with Glenn and 2 first round picks
  10. Is he better than Nate Peterman?
  11. Good day for the Bills !
  12. I think the people who have created this narrative about Rosen are: 1. People who have a binary mind, you either fit the role or don't. You should shut up and mechanically do what you're told. A lot of old school types are this way. Think head of the NCAA types 2. People who don't like his political views, he's a left coast liberal. Personally, I love the dude...he's franchise to me.
  13. Its also about risk aversion as some are conservative to the point of wilting on the vine.
  14. They could, but it won't happen because the cap hit is too much for a not elite QB. Not McBeane style, but someone like say McCarron or Keenum at a lower hit isn't. I prefer the trade up and draft rout myself.
  15. I agree it was a really easy decision for the Bills.
  16. It really is that simple isn't it.
  17. That was part of the point is that Manning always got paid and the Pats managed it with Brady thus a stronger supporting cast. And, these guys are truly elite, you should pay at the high end of the cap% to truly elite guys...not Cousins.
  18. 30 million on the cap is 17%, The record for a SB Winner is 15% by Peyton Manning. Hard to build a team around the QB at that level. Tom Brady usually around 10-12%. No thanks. Give me Josh Rosen on a rookie deal and do it right. And, build a team. I hope the Broncos get Cousins.
  19. The way the Dolphins spend towards the cap has left them with a NEGATIVE position. They have continually made Suh type of splashes in the wrong areas. We have a little thing called the cap and you can't have 32% tied up by DL and still be strong other places. If they have to get rid of talent like Landry and Suh perhaps Tannehill , replacing them with 11Million cap hit for a guy with durability issues and avg of less than 6 sacks/year the last 3 yrs, I'm sorry it is not a good move. And, I don't care if it didn't require much draft capital. This is the kind of move the Bills used to make and won't now. Quinn is not worthy of that type of cap hit. This is why teams like Miami and Tannenbaum never win Super Bowls. The record for cap hit by DL by a SB Winner is 8% by Warren Sapp and Reggie White. The Suh deal was such a joke when they made it because he doesn't have the kind of impact that merits it. Even a 6% hit like Quinn is reserved for the truly elite pass rushers in my book. When Denver won the SB they had Miller and Ware at about 5.5% each. Miller is now like 11-12% and is it questionable whether that model works for them now.
