Is Josh Rosen really the QB that the Bills covet?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As for Rosen and his concussions does anybody really think that any QB drafted out of college has never had a couple concussions? i sure as hell don't. They sat him out to protect him and that is great, that's what they should do. But, this is just looking for a reason not to like Rosen. -
You are likely correct as the usual MO is to wait until they are on the clock. I just have a sneaking suspicion after hearing Gettleman say he wanted to have a clear idea by FA what the direction was. Could just be smoke, or could be he and Beane have it worked out and nothing to be gained by waiting. They both move forward in FA and the draft knowing where they stand. Gettleman has a **** ton of draft picks and Glenn. He can sign Norwell and whoever else he want. Beane has number 2.

I think he gets traded next week to the Giants and the Bills acquire the number 2 pick in the draft. The Giants are rebuiding their line and sign Norwell and draft an OLine guy with our #21 pick like Daniels or Hernandez and with #22 draft a RB like Sony Michel. These teams want to figure the trade out before FA

Plan A is move up and get a franchise guy. (Rosen, Mayfield...Darnold), get a relatively inexpensive QB in FA like Matt Moore. Plan B trade for Foles and draft a project QB who comes to them like (Allen or Jackson) Plan C sign a FA QB like Bradford, Keenum, McCarron and perhaps draft a QB like Rudolph, Lauletta in 2 or 3 round

Landry Stat Line 2018: 150 catches 900 yards 6.0/rec 1TD against the Bills, 2 more cheap shots in the game

Could be correct with your POV. I think he fits very nicely though. -

How about Matt Moore? Carolina/ UCLA connection to back up /transition to Rosen! -

I think Gettelman, Beane and Dorsey are running this draft at the top. Browns are taking Barkley 1 and since they are, the Giants are trading down to rebuild the lines. Browns can still get a QB like Darnold, Mayfield, even Allen by trading back up to 3 or just staying at 4 while Colts draft Chubb. And yes Beane knows they're not taking Rosen. -

LOL likes he's not even there! Agree if its Foles they are after Jackson or even Allen Rudolph is like signing a mediocre QB in FA to be the face of the franchise-NO THANKS -
Good morning, boys

Todd Haley must be excited to have all these weapons to work with. Barkley will be his new LeVeon Bell. Coming off 1-31, the expectations are low, and the new group in charge will look good as a result. I still think they take a QB at 4. And after the wink, wink, nod, nod between Beane and Dorsey both sides have a good idea what's going on. 1. They are taking Barkley 1 so the Giants aren't getting him. 2. The Bills and Giants are trading and we're taking Rosen, Giants rebuild the OL with Glenn and picks 3. The Colts have Luck and will draft Chubb 4. The Browns will have their choice of Darnold, Mayfield or Allen. 5. They could also trade up with the Colts one spot to make sure. Colts still get Chubb at 4 , Browns like Darnold they say at #3 Between Dorsey, Beane and Gettelman they are orchestrating this draft to their liking. IMO -
Bradford and Rudolph should be the plan
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure about overrated, he is not one of the big 3-4 IMO-which is where I'm at. I'm thinking with Foles he could develop ...which he needs. He is talented though. Again I want Rosen as plan A! -

I would rather trade for Foles than have Bradford and draft Jackson than Rudolph. (Foles, Jackson)=more upside than the other 2 -
Where will Sammy Watkins land in FA?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to LA Grant's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would take him back in Buffalo in a heart beat! It would be a surprise, but not impossible. -

So... Is A.J. McCarron Back in play?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the trade makes it less likely we spend 15M/yr on McCarron. Someone like Matt Moore, with his Carolina connection and UCLA background, could be perfect to backup, transition and develop Rosen. -
So is our QB from Free Agency or Draft?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it could be Matt Moore (UCLA/Carolina Panther) and another UCLA guy we traded up to draft. -
