  1. Bump. Thanks for keeping this thing up to date Astro!
  2. I remember that guy. He had a special moment. Forums do that to people. Cause them to melt that is. Drinking + forum posting speeds that process up. Cheers Sounds like B.S. if you ask me. Guys who really believe that in their heart wouldn't say it publicly. Who the hell would want to root for a guy who talks like that? Kizer is a dick. No thank you. Hope his failure is epic.
  3. Yes. Also makes sense why they didn't make a decision on Taylor even after Rex was canned. Perhaps it was never Whaley's decision to make. It was the coach's decision all along.
  4. I see. You're one of those guys who thinks its the players' fault the coach calls so many running plays. To beat a dead horse....Every single year any team ran a Greg Roman offense, that team ranked very close to or at the very top of the league in number of running plays called and total rushing yards while being near or at the very bottom of the league in number of passing attempts and total passing yards. Every single year. Regardless of who was Qb. Even when the Greg Roman led 49ers went to the Superbowl. All you have to do is look at the stats man. Just look. It is obvious as hell. And guess which teams had the highest passing yards (in general)? Answer: The teams that threw the ball the most times. Total yards passing and total yards rushing tell you more about how often a team ran or threw than they tell you about how effective that team was at rushing or throwing. If you don't believe me, just go look at the stats. If you want to blame someone for that, blame the guy calling the plays not the players. And we have different guys calling the plays this year. My prediction is passing yards is going to go up substantially this year, not because the personnel is necessarily better, but simply because they will throw the ball more times per game than the last two years.
  5. Cleveland spreading misinformation so they look smarter when they waste the number one pick on a QB that ends up out of the league in a few years..
  6. Hey. I gave you credit. I called you a dirty rotten bastard for doing it. So there were at least 2 people... Oh... And posting that Peter pan liknk is something only an idiot would do. Ba dump dum.
  7. Estro..... If you are measuring the passing offense based on total yards, you are following the wrong stat. Follow yards per attempt It is a much better stat. Total yards doesn't take into account the number of attempts. And with the Bills the last 2 years and with other Greg Roman designed offenses, the numbers are severely out of whack. They are whacky because his offenses ran the ball more times than anyone else and threw the ball less than anyone else. Look at the stats. It is amazing how little his offenses threw compared to the rest of the NFL.
  8. Sorry...you're not going to get your wish. Did you read that article? Piece it together friend. McDermott is running the whole show. Well, he has help, but he is in charge...like big time in charge... Sink or swim...it's McDermott's doing.
  9. You know.... In all honesty I think it really is.... Not a GREAT win, but yes, a win nonetheless. Chalk a small win up for the Bills. It might be the only win we get against the Patriots this year. bah dump dum.
  10. Luke Falk is your guy. He will be in next year's draft. He is the next Drew Bledsoe. If you liked Drew in his prime, then you will like Luke.
  11. That effin Peter Pan thing never gets old!
  12. Thanks for that link. It is a good one! After reading that I am more convinced than ever that McDermott is officially calling the shots and Whaley is his underling in terms of power hierarchy. Not that it matters. Just lets us know who is most accountable for the personnel decisions moving forward from here. This should be great news to the ears of people who thinks that Whaley sucks. I personally don't. I think he is above average at evaluating talent based on his free agent work alone. And it would explain how the last couple drafts played out. If you don't like the last couple drafts, you might want to rethink blaming them entirely on Whaley. Seems like power has shifted away from Whaley compared to what it was when he originally became GM. Maybe? Maybe not? Maybe it has always been this way with him?
  13. You don't think Lattimore or Humphrey in round 1? I thought it was the Billsy thing to do to take a CB in round 1.
  14. That suggests that they will take at least one CB high in this draft - probably pick 1 or 2? Yes? No?
  15. Exactly what I was thinking. Who are you trying to fool? You can pick anybody and announce it. Doesn't change anything.
  16. Welcome to the board Jerry Sullivan.
  17. Things I would like to see: 1) A dominant offense both on the ground and through the air 2) A defense that can stop the run 3) A defense that creates turnovers by disrupting pass routes and applying intense amounts of QB pressure 4) A coach who punts only when it is stupid not to

  20. What if the Bills new offensive scheme has them running the ball half as much as they did this past year? How many touches would Mike actually get? Could be a factor in their decision too.
  21. You must have left early too then. How else would you have seen them try to climb the gates to get back in from your seat? Doh!
  22. If you are talking about Kouandjio, which I assume you are, and the guy has flipped his lid so to speak, the decision is very simple. Cut him. Let him seek treatment for his condition or if not cut - Injured Reserve. There won't be any discipline if the guy is sick. Only if they find out it was drug related.
  23. They also identify talent better and manage their salary cap better than most other teams if not all other teams. God I hate the Patriots. The key to winning long term is identifying talent better and it also helps if you can manage it well with $$$ once you have the talent there. They are going to be a good team, not necessarily a contender every year but good, even when Brady retires unless the guys behind the scenes retire too.
  24. I don't think he got a single draft pick right except for maybe Hairston in round 7
