[closed]NFL Network Final mock draft

I bet they will take a TE somewhere. Tyrod says lots of 2 tight end sets this year. Mason Schreck (UB guy) perhaps late or maybe brought in after the draft if he goes undrafted which is very possible. Probably not on many radars considering he is a UB guy.

Great, well thought out post. You should post more often! Cheers!

Dude.. If the Bills really like a QB - like they think he is going to be a solid franchise guy or maybe even better - then they are going to take the guy - and they would take him at 10. If they don't take one there, it means they don't have confidence in any of those guys to become that. And if they don't have that confidence in any of those guys - then they should draft an impact player at another position that they do have that much confidence in. They aren't going to, nor should they, just take a shot on a QB they don't have any confidence in just because some fans want them to. You gotta keep things in perspective.

No doubt...The only winner in this draft is Two Bills Drive.

Quit asking Doug Whaley to go get your guys. He's not doing it. Coach is. -
Someone's been paying attention! lol.... Imagine how Russ Brandon feels. Company wide memo Thursday morning...."Attention all employees: Prepare for massive shitstorm tomorrow." New PR guy will be tweeting out "Mayday mayday mayday...."

Yes of course you are correct. Think about it though. If there was a QB they were confident was going to become an elite one or even a dependable franchise QB, they wouldn't move down for him. They would take him so they don't miss. Cuz.....QB

Minus the obvious...what would you like to see this year?
PolishDave replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for owning it John. You're okay in my book But remember, you are still gonna get crap for wearing your Brady/Brissett/Garoppolo jerseys to the Bills home games. Be prepared. -
I'm really hoping for a first next year from somebody. Really looking forward to the draft.

Your words - "Patriots' 3rd string Jacoby Brisset probably has higher upside than Tyrod Taylor." I see you didn't take those words back. You hold that embarrassment of a qb "Jacoby Brisset" in higher esteem than the guy (Tyrod) who led the Bills to that stomping victory over them. Tyrod deserves no credit for that. Even without Sammy playing. Nope. Jacoby is obviously better. Your opinion is biased John. Looks pretty jaded to me. Based on the evidence it looks like Tyrod's floor is actually above Jacoby's ceiling. lol... You are either a closet Patriot fanboy or a closet Tyrod hater. Just own it. -
If this is true, then it suggests that the Bills don't have a QB that they have high confidence in and want badly. Correct? Because if they did, they wouldn't trade out of that spot and gamble on missing him.

Except 2 times in recent history where the Bills played the Patriots without Tom Brady - or when the Patriots pulled Tom Brady, the Bills won the game. And these are Bills teams that got very little respect and crapped on by the same people who praise the Patriots as being infallible. The Patriots running game isn't good enough to win them a majority of games without Tom Brady. I would argue the only reason their running game is any good at all is because of Tom Brady's passing threat. Take him away - and they are very beatable. They are still a good team. Not a Superbowl winner without him though. And not a dominant team without him. The Patriot's team is comprised of humans and their **** stinks too. So you are calling Taylor a respectable bridge QB. Right after you suggest that both of the Patriot backup quarterbacks 2nd and 3rd string are either better or more likely to be better than Taylor. You are a closet Tyrod hater dude. Just own it. That way if the Bills have to ditch him after a bad season this year - you can say SEE I was right all along. Gonna be a fun season for you. -

Nice answer. In other words you have zero proof. Patriots primarily win with Brady's arm and by playing good defense. Take away their passing game and they are very beatable. Even the Bills have done it. I reiterate - You freakin made that **** up dude! Total B.S. fabrication. And you know it. You just don't want to admit it. Patriots ranked 24th in average yards per carry last year. Certainly not dominant. Not even close. If they had to beat you solely on their running game, they couldn't. They would lose. Remember the Bills game? Take away their passing game = Patriots are screwed as are most teams. -
Bills doing homework on 2017 QBs
PolishDave replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very interesting. If so, none of those teams are that high on a QB. If they were, they wouldn't want to trade down out of their respective spots. They wouldn't want to risk losing their guy. -

How many games can you name where the Patriots opponent took away their passing game and the Patriots ran the ball 35+ times and won? You just made that up. -

Reuben Foster Failed Drug Test at Combine
PolishDave replied to PolishDave's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are correct. With millions of dollars on the line and a life of luxury playing a sport for a living. It really takes stupidity and irresponsibility to a new level when it is a drug you can't even get physically addicted to. They guy is a dope who uses dope. 2 negatives do not make a positive in this case. McDermott has probably already kicked him to the curb unless he falls so low that the Bills already got all the other guys they really wanted. -

PolishDave replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope. You are just wrong. What you did is made up your mind about something and then twisted what you see into proof of what you want to be true. The truth of the matter is that all of Roman's passing attacks resulted in near league bottom passing yards. That is irrefutable. You can claim that it wasn't by design. But you would find yourself wrong if you just looked at the stats objectively. You can't do it that many years in a row by accident. It has always been by design even when he had Alex Smith at QB completing 70% of his passes. Think about that. That offense was never re-designed to hide QB flaws as a handful of you guys have tried to argue. It was Roman's offense in its most evolved state. That is why it was so successful at moving the ball on the ground. The guy was very very good at designing a running attack. He always has been. The one week a player (a.k.a Sammy Watkins) called out the offense for focusing too much on the running game and not enough on the passing game - the Bills' passing game took a major step forward with the same damn personnel it had all year. Hmm..... There isn't a fan here who knows what Tyrod's ceiling is in a normal (more balanced) offense that actually emphasizes a passing attack because that offense was as unbalanced towards running as the NFL gets. And when we finally did get a glimpse of a game (2nd Miami) where it was obvious they spent the whole week working on their passing attack leading up to that game, it looked pretty darn good. -
One NFL team called Browns to trade for #1 to draft a QB.
PolishDave replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They won't. They will take the one guy they feel like they absolutely must get in this draft automatically because of that first pick. I just question whether they will pick a guy who is going to be a great NFL player or if they are going to spend the very best pick position in the draft on a guy who has a decent chance of washing out of the NFL in a few years.
