I live in Charlotte and watched the whole fiasco up close and personal. Rhule isn’t an Xs and Os coach. He’s a conference man who get players to believe in themselves. It works in college, not so much in the NFL. Brady was running whatever he wanted to. It was Brady’s ( the wonder boy who would soon get his own HC shot) offensive scheme. The short story, not much of any kind of run scheme and when told to run, by Rhule, he would quickly go right back to passing O. Maybe he has grown but you can’t change an Offense halfway through the season. I have zero expectations of the Bills suddenly becoming proficient.

He didn’t call the plays, Brady did.

I agree with just about all of this. Especially about a coaches message getting old and starting to fall on deaf ears. While I understand your point about his defensive acumen, the fact that he allowed Frazier as much leash as he did was a precursor of my distrust for him now. Watching the defense crumble again with the game on the line was just more of the same in that regard.

I know I’m not the only one who this coaching staff lost before this season ever started. 13 seconds was the beginning of the end. Hopefully Pegula has the balls to can him. If this season devolves further, as it looks like it might, maybe it happens before seasons end. Joshx alone, makes this a desirable gig.

What sucks is Cook could have done some of this last year with a crazy YAC average but McClappy doesn’t like to play Rookies😕

Yep!!! HC would talk about committing to the run in the post loss presser, next week would come, 5 runs, 40+ passes. Unless he has evolved this is gonna suck! But he didn’t!

Late to thread but Brady ain’t all that unless he’s suddenly learned how to scheme in runs on offense. Brady was putrid in Carolina !!!

I agree. I also don’t think he has as much zip on his ball anymore. (I know, the announcers talked about him bruising hands on one crosser to Kincaide) He has decidedly been arching balls he use to throw on a rope , since the beginning of the season. Maybe it’s on purpose but I’m suspecting maybe not. This league takes a toll.

I have an apartment and riding route, no walking. It’s been 17+ years since I walked but that was 8 miles a day. I’m in Charlotte NC so weather is amazing 90% of the time but hot in the summer. Nothing fascinating about being a glorified paperboy but the money is good and the benefits are very good. Compared to a few on here…. But everyone needs older brothers and sisters 🦬

I’ve been a Bills fan since 1980. I have many interests and endeavors that I keep myself over busy and over booked with. I make my real money as a Mail man and as a senior carrier I often have time to kill on the street. For years this has a been a place to burn a minute or three while keeping up of the NFL in general. I really trust this board as the best place to get my NFL news. Some have argued otherwise but there is a literal race to post breaking stories on here for bragging rights. It works for me , as I know I’ll get every link in close to real time, which is awesome. As discussed in other threads, I’m feeling disillusioned with this coaching staff and the general direction of the NFL. I find myself not visiting nearly as much this season.
