Yep, McD is saying all the right things and Hyde is going to have to earn it and show he's still got it. But, IMO, the cream is going to rise to the top.

Answering a question about managing expectations is very different that saying we will see very little of him.

Either way, they're going to have to get him some live snaps if he's even going to be a primary backup. But the situation couldn't be better to do that with our position in the division and our final three opponents.

Definitely possible but they’re also going to have to make some moves for the imminent returns of Carter and Grable.

There's no winning the argument. When we win it's because of Allen, when we lose it's because of McDermott

It's not always my favorite style, but it has to be obvious to serious fans. It's been our approach for years. Keep everything in front of us and let teams move a bit between the 20's. I do think that we need a more aggressive approach in the postseason. While it is generally hard to sustain those long drives, the best teams in the postseason seem to have more success against it.

They are giving up the run by staying in nickel and dime. If they wanted to take it away they could.
