I'm so jealous of all you who live in the NY area. I grew up in New Mexico and the closest bills game I could get to was a 7 hour drive for the Arizona games every 4 years. Saw them twice but I'm sure it's nothing like a home game. Now I live in Idaho...closest game this year? Cleveland.

Russel Wilson also has one of the NFL's top 3 defenses, and a kick butt offense surrounding him. We have many talented players on offense, but I have a feeling it will be hard for EJ to keep up with a team like the pats scoring 30-40 points on our defense. =(

I think the main reason why the NFL hasn't implemented newer technology is to keep the "traditions". Not that I'm defending hauling an arbitrary chain around like a measuring stick....just sayin I doubt they will develop newer methods anytime soon.

Exactly. If EJ turns out to be a bust I wouldn't blame the decision to give him a shot...he's as ready as any rookie is. If it doesn't turn out its just a bills curse....

That's true, I didn't mention that in my post....that is good news . That's also what stood out to me in the interview. There were actually a lot of points when the reporter was trying to stir something up, but EJ refused to give any indication of a divided team. He knows he is the center of the team, yet he is not self-centered.

Bills win 31-27 In the preseason the bills showed flashes of great red zone defense...Brady will no doubt be in the red zone 5+ times on Sunday, I'm hoping we can steal a couple turnovers and also just limit them to some field goals.

It was a little disturbing to hear about his mom's cancer. I did not know that before. Not only do I feel bad for the EJ, but depending on how close he is to his mom (based on this interview, VERY close) it could be a huge blow if the cancer gets worse. I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was young, and it's not exactly something you can just clear from your mind on a game day! That all being said, what seems the most promising about this interview is EJ seems incredibly confident, yet he doesn't boast and seems eager to let his play do the talking instead of his mouth.

He's a very inspirational guy. I know this has been brought up in many other threads but I just loved that latest interview that just came out.

I think you really reached too far for manning. I have him on my team with the 38th pick, you got him at 11. You could have picked up an extra running back and had a great RB1/RB2 set.

I've got one spot on my fantasy roster that I need to fill from waivers, and I thought I would be loyal to a home player...stevie is already taken obviously, but who would be number 2? I was thinking Goodwin might see a couple deep balls that could rack up some good yardage and potential touchdowns. I also like the ceiling for Easley....what is your opinion TBD?

Spiller's on my fantasy team, so I have double the worries. If Spiller goes down this year it would put a serious damper on my NFL season

As much as I usually hate sports writers trying to write witty narratives instead of reporting, that article was actually hilarious. Every few sentences made me laugh.

You say cut Kolb, but look at Tuel's play. The bills did not make a first down in the entire second half. Not one. Kolb isn't a star player but he is capable of completing a pass of more than 5 yards
