  1. Unless we sign Tebow and he turns Woods into the new Megatron. Never thought of that did you. On a more serious note, despite questionable coaching and terrible, terrible, terrible luck with injuries on both sides of the ball, I think now is still a better time to buy jersey than any other point in the last 5 years. Except maybe if some people (myself included) got fooled into believing our 4-0 start a couple years ago was legit.
  2. On another note, I think Fitzpatrick is looking like somebody we wish we had on our depth chart right about now. Despite losing Locker, I think the Titans have a decent shot at taking on the Chiefs this week.
  3. So I'm going to buy a new jersey this weekend, and I can't decide if I want to get Kiko Alonso or Robert Woods. My question is, who do you guys think will be around longer and have more of an impact in the long run? If both players want big money once their rookie contracts are up, do you think management will fork over the dough to keep both? I have faith in Manuel, but everybody knows deep down that 1st round rookie QBs don't always make it, so there's a chance that he just doesn't work out and in a few years we get a new QB. Or who knows, maybe even Freeman signs with us and steals Manuel's job...never know! I think I'm leaning toward Alonso.
  4. 20 Minutes till kickoff...this has been the longest day ever! Go Bills!
  5. If Gragg was playing I don't think he would have tripped over his own feet for an easy touchdown. Anyone know an estimated return date for him?
  6. Why don't we get moved? Because the NFL needs a "Washington Generals"-like team for the Patriots to beat up on. Although in the next few years the tables will begin to turn. As soon as Brady starts his decline and Manuel starts his rise to fame
  7. PER BLEACHER REPORT: CJ Spiller will play vs. Browns I would provide a link but the update is on my phone and this is not now if only we could get McKelvin out there we will be rolling
  8. I think people are looking at just how poorly Manuel handled his first road game against the Jets, and are thinking that the Browns home advantage is enough to clinch the game. And honestly until Manuel proves otherwise the lines are probably right. That being said, Bills had a huge upset vs the Ravens and that's enough to make me an optimist about this game!
  9. I'm on the west coast and getting out of work and to the bars by 5:30 is a challenge. But I'll make it happen for my Bills!
  10. Seeing as we have played some very established offenses (Patriots, Ravens, kind of Panthers) and we have managed to generate turnovers, I don't see us having a problem getting a few similar chances this game. That being said, our touchdown rate while in the red zone is completely awful I feel like we kick a field goal every time we get good field position. I don't know the actual stat but I could see this game being very frustrating... I agree with the prediction that it will be a defensive battle but probably not as low as 13-9. I would put the over/under around 32. Not gonna make a prediction about who wins or I'll jinx it.
  11. Agreed about all of those teams except atlanta and houston. I believe they are better than their records suggest because of their schedules. What would have happened if houston actually won in OT vs. the seahawks? Everyone would praise them and expect them to be great for the rest of the season. I'm not saying their as good as the hawks or broncos, but I would put them around 7-9. Same with atlanta.
  12. That one made me laugh out loud...now my coworkers know I'm just #*&ing around all day haha
  13. This post was right on. I never saw a doctor but based on WebMD I had plantar fasciitis for about 2 years and that was only because I chose to keep stress on my foot to play my sport. If I ever gave it a month or so rest (which Byrd definitely has) then I felt fine. Freddy is capable but it's always nice to have multiple options. Look what happens when EITHER Freddy or CJ take a full load - they get knocked out of the game before the 4th quarter. I don't like when people hate on Spiller (or Freddy for that matter) because the reality is that split carries is what we need right now from them. Not to mention they have different styles of running to (in theory) keep the defense having to change around their play.
  14. "What do you see when you're about to intercept the ball?" "Well at first I was thinking 'I wonder whats for dinner tonight' and then I decided to stare down Flacco until he sh** a brick and threw the ball right to me" TV show about a serial killer. It's really good, you should watch it. It's on showtime True. I'm sure he's more educated than a lot of guys in the NFL, and if he's not, who cares? The last thing we need to be doing to a new stud LB is criticize him for his interview skills.
  15. I think Byrd and McKelvin will come out to play, plus our D line will put pressure on Flacco and Kiko keeps Rice in check. Low scoring game, but our offense doesn't stand a chance unless Hackett had some divine vision about how to get past the Ravens D. Ravens 16 Bills 10
  16. A post minimum, rather. But yes you're right. Although microscopes has a few hundred posts and still manages to create what should be non-existent threads.
  17. Agreed. I also would like to keep the system where 2 teams from each conference get a bye. Makes their good season play worth something. 8 teams per conference eliminates the bye and someone who goes 16-0 could have a fluke game and lose to a wild card (1 would be seeded vs. 8). That's no fun. As for preseason, I would be okay dropping down to 3 games. It makes the month of August so damn long and boring. A July training camp scrimmage would be pretty fun to see instead of the 4th preseason game
  18. Did you sneak into my house last Monday any given Monday and take that video of me?
  19. Yeah diva is kind of the wrong word. It's interesting that he keeps getting "injured" but comes back within a week. But I think he's just more like Reggie Bush in that he's easily banged up...not necessarily a diva. If you're gonna pick on someone, pick on Tony Romo. I don't like that guy. Or the team he plays for, for that matter.
  20. Pats are a different story. They dominate every team, and are well over .500 every year. The Jets stink, plain and simple. yet we have almost as bad a record against them as we do the Pats.
  21. I was never a fan of Kaepernick, I think the 49ers made a mistake letting go of Smith. And now Andy Reid and the Chiefs are laughing all the way to the playoffs. Granted, they will have to get used to the frustrating fact that Smith has no deep ball, but he's such a great slot passer and can even scramble when he needs to - 49ers will be missing Smith. Pittsburgh: Seem to be getting old, finding holes in their roster they didn't expect...but they will bounce back. They aren't at the same level of rebuilding as the AFC teams (minus Pats) Giants: I have to admit I was expecting them to be much better this year. Nicks is healthy, Cruz is becoming a reliable vet, and Wilson was supposed to be a great addition to their running game. Who could have predicted this flop? Sad, too - I've liked the Giants ever since they became the Achilles' Heel of the Patriots.
