  1. Whaley has actually done quite a bit in a relatively short amount of time in the grand scheme of things. Gets my vote..
  2. Just to play devil's advocate, he was pressed into a starting type role in week 8 last year. He carried 22 / 44, it's a small sample size, I know, but the closest to starting and being an every down back.
  3. If this is about comparing last year at this time to this year at this time, the QB position has improved by leaps and bounds, IMO
  4. Does anybody know if Taylor is still taking off looking to run right away (or almost) or is he showing better pocket awareness?
  5. They're playing a lot better so it's not as much fun for them to report.
  6. True, but how many times have injuries affected his season? How many times has he been slow getting up? Still points to durability. When he stays healthy for a season, that's when I would think you can consider him durable.
  7. Never is his fault. He has potential for sure, but IMO, the kid is just not durable enough to take the physical rigors of the NFL.
  8. WRT Cassell losing the job because of suffocating defenses and knowing which plays are coming, IIRC, I have heard a lot of different plays are being installed from the same formations that way the defense can't get a lock on the play. I personally don't care who wins the job, whoever gives them the best chance to win. If it is Cassell so be it, then he can help mentor the younger and less experienced QB's for the future. If it's Manuel or Taylor, then they have obviously shown enough upside to win the starting position and should get better as season progresses. There are positives to come from any of the 3 starting.
  9. I disagree about the attention whore sentiment. Just a way one chooses to express themselves. We're all fans, just express it to varying degrees. Why does it mean that they're attention whores?
  10. IIRC, it was also stated that Tyrod ran the scout team offense every week while with Baltimore for defensive game planning. That should give him exposure to multiple offensive schemes in the NFL. Granted he didn't have much time to actually learn the entire scheme, but he did have exposure to it.
  11. IMO, it allows the NFL to gauge the interest in the market, before actually making any move. Easy enough to reimburse anyone who purchased a ticket(s) should a move never come to fruition.
  12. I'm a little surprised to see comments about Rex regarding being here long term and that he may not be the best answer long term.
  13. I called and asked for customer retention and spoke to them. They told me that since I paid last year they could do it for free this year. I negotiated my bill last year and had it at a very reduced rate. Good on directv for keeping their customers happy.
  14. http://www.scout.com/nfl/bills/story/1566909-every-sammy-watkins-touchdown
  15. Unfortunately I clicked from my Droid, made it through the ads, and all the pop ups. The other two were Marquise Goodwin and E.J. Manuel.
  16. How do you "play above your talent"? Not trying to be an a-hole, just trying to understand. Edit: nevermind. I read that wrong. I understand what you mean now... duh
  17. Not for nothing, but in the clip of the replay in the article, didn't his elbow touched the ground before anything else. Therefore he should have been down at that spot. Maybe I'm just off
  18. +1.. my post from another thread.. "During the last 15 years, the Bills have built themselves a real "Mr. Niceguy" club that they tried to call a football team. It's time for some nasty on the field. I would much rather be reading stories about how the Bills are kicking ass and going deep into the playoffs than about how player XYZ helped some little old lady and her dog across the street. As long as this does not interfere with his performance on the field, whatever, I say"

  20. Agreed. Pride should not be a determining factor when making roster decisions. Unfortunately, IMO, it is in some cases.
  21. Just curious if anyone seen this at the bottom of the article. "This story was originally published on February 4, 2015." Is this just a republish, or did it have new info to add? I vaguely remember reading something similar.
  22. Heads up.. Green Bay @ Buffalo 2014 NFL Replay 3:00pm EST on NFL Network. Sorry if it was posted elsewhere..
  23. I hear they are showing a dodgeball tourney over on ESPN 8 "The Ocho"... ;-)
  24. so wait, Pegula is going to take the other teams money when they all stay in his new hotel? Bonus
