  1. Yeah, our defense has been terrible the last couple years. Quite a big difference , especially when tight with the cap. $5.5 million is significant in cap dollars for the Bills
  2. Really miss the old time social skills of Hank Bullough- you don't see these young pups farting during press conferences anymore. Old school.
  3. Not sure I follow which part is systemic racism? The Rooney Rule, constant hiring of mostly white coaches?
  4. Maybe you view him as boring, but he's successful, once again coaching a top defense and getting results, which is what is most important. He was a HC for 3 full seasons, went from 3-13 to 10-6 and a playoff berth then back down out of the playoffs year 3. I wouldn't say he failed. He also made the playoffs with Christian Ponder as his QB, and got fired the year after Ponder, Matt Cassell and Josh Freeman were his QB's. Seems like the GM failed more than Frazier Obviously, I'm a Frazier fan, have been since his days with the Vikings. He's a damn good coach.
  5. You may be right, but I only brought up color because you did. I think your comment was inappropriate and disrespectful to Frazier, a highly respected player and coach for decades in the NFL.
  6. I definitely should have held back on my comment another day. A lot of QB's that had no business playing got time that Trubisky should get. He'll find a better gig next year.
  7. Do you think this with all black candidates or just Frazier. This is the dumb logic we hear every year from so many fans. Immediately dismissing any interest in black candidates as 'Rooney Rule' requirements. Do white coaches get serious consideration because owners prefer white people?
  8. I'm not sure there are many teams out there that will be looking for both a new coach and a new QB, especially one that didn't really play this season.
  9. I love listening to Peyton Manning break down a play, a drive, a gameplan. Even though his broadcasts are spending too much time with guests, when the Mannings breakdown the game, it's very informative. Almost everything the usual commentators talk about is stuff I already know or can see myself. Former QB's are usually the best, just like catchers in baseball, they need to know all elements of offense and defense when they play the game. Brian Griese often has useful comments, same with Romo. But most of them are useless.
  10. How have the Bills been screwed by the comp pick system?
  11. The NFLPA also agreed to this, correct? Do they also have little regard for player safety?
  12. I'm looking forward to watching us try to clinch the AFC East Sunday, Sunday night game , Chargers/Raiders looks like an awesome matchup. Can't wait. Honestly, it never occurred to me that someone might be unhappy with less preseason and more regular season games.
  13. Encinitas and Del Mar, Don't remember where I filled up. It was weird, I filled up in AZ for $3.25, again in CA for about $4.50, then near Centro at the CA/AZ border for about $5.50. Quite the price swing. you know what they say about blind hookers? You really gotta hand it to them.
  14. if you pay $7 , you're an idiot. I paid about $4.50 2 weeks ago.
  15. Was just recently in CA, it didn't seem crazy at all, quite a great place actually. Had a blast. California has the 6th largest economy in the world, a budget surplus during covid. They're doing quite well.
  16. Fans used to want December home games. Would always complain if we played Miami in Florida in December.
  17. you made your point the first time. is there any Dlineman that plays 100% or even near that many snaps?
  18. He'll get a lot more than that if he tests the market. He's a starting DT. He'll probably get more term too.
  19. How the hell did first time head coach Matt Ruhle get a 7 year $60 million contract? I understand using the term, retread, but it seems derogatory to me. Former head coach seems good enough. I gotta think both coordinators are gone this year. Too much success to ignore.
  20. final year of his contract, $7mm cap hit next season. I don't see it happening. We'll be better served putting that kind of money in our OLine.
  21. At the time, I thought the Browns should have taken Barkley #1 overall and the best QB left at #4. Probably wouldn't have worked out well for them. They actually made smart picks, Mayfield should be better than he's playing this season.
  22. I picked up both players this week, I'm starting Davis, not McKenzie. Thinking Sanders inactive and Davis gets some nice targets
