He's a great competitor, someone who takes great care of himself, He seems quite happy in his life, but he is competitive and while playing he will always try his best to win. he's 34 , very few linebackers are playing effectively, if at all , at that age. He's had 1 year in his career where he was a pass rush threat. To think he would be as effective this year was wishful thinking and poor judgement.

From what I hear, it makes sense for Darnold to stay at USC, but can we really afford to trade all/many of those high picks for a QB, we have so many needs on this team. Those picks are crucial to the team. We are not going to be able to sign high end FA's til we accomplish something first. We can't trade our picks.
