Keep in mind, except for Tarkenton, you are looking at #1 overall picks, there was a likely expectation of great success for them, not the same case for a 5th round pick. Doesn't mean Peterman can't recover, but it's apples and oranges.
I say people are jealous of Brady's success, you say "in a constant mode of "prove them wrong" and "I'm better than you." He'll never be satisfied, or at peace "
Hardly the same type of analysis.
It's absolutely inappropriate. He's a great competitor, someone who takes great care of himself, He seems quite happy in his life, but he is competitive and while playing he will always try his best to win. I know everyone in buffalo is supposed to hate him , but you psycho analysis of him is quite ridiculous. You conclude he'll never be at peace because he wants to continue to compete and win. He seems to really have it all together. It's pure jealously of this guy and not much else.
Great point.
Looking at this from McDermott's position. No faith in current QB, rookie 5th round pick with who there really shouldn't be any seriously high expectations yet, how can you blame the coordinator?
Not sure a 'win' is how I would describe this. But I get your point. However, I've had enough of battling for a better draft pick. It's getting old.
he's 34 , very few linebackers are playing effectively, if at all , at that age. He's had 1 year in his career where he was a pass rush threat. To think he would be as effective this year was wishful thinking and poor judgement.
From what I hear, it makes sense for Darnold to stay at USC, but can we really afford to trade all/many of those high picks for a QB, we have so many needs on this team. Those picks are crucial to the team. We are not going to be able to sign high end FA's til we accomplish something first. We can't trade our picks.
