  1. I love Artie! “Baby Gorilla we speak your name”
  2. That’s how McCoy always said it. I thought that he was an idiot. It turns out the rest of us are.
  3. There is a difference though. The data shows that accuracy isn’t often fixed. Allen’s base is incosistent causing inconsistent accuracy. If they can work on the base he will resolve these issues. He spent his Wyoming career running for his life though and didn’t have a chance to do that. By all accounts he made big strides in this area under Jordan Palmer in the pre-draft process. This needs to continue but there has already been substantial progress.
  4. I wouldn’t bring him in to clean toilets
  5. It was that bad. I told my dad after the game that it was one of the worst performances that I’ve ever seen. The guy couldn’t have looked worse.
  6. Murphy read your post and shook his head. He will be out 3 weeks with neck soreness.
  7. I won’t bet more than $50 a game in the preseason. It really is just action for action sake. It does make the preseason way more interesting.
  8. Ha ha ha, YES!!! It’s the stupidest bet in history. He just wanted a win. He was actually having a pretty good Super Bowl. The guy was betting what the next play would be!
  9. He goes by dumb@ss now
  10. Great betting story: My buddy (you met him in Jacksonville) live bets EVERYTHING. When we go to the Pelicans games he is making multiple bets a quarter. 2 years ago he bet $77 to win $.77 in the 2nd half that the Falcons - Pats wouldn’t go to overtime. Ha ha ha, we have crushed him mercilessly since then.
  11. That’s the beauty of it. There’s nothing like being glued to the TV as Nick Mullens tries to lead the 49ers down the field against Junior Joseph and the vaunted Bengals defense.
  12. All joking aside I’m not opposed to betting preseason games. There really is no rhyme or reason to it. It doesn’t require a ton of handicapping like the regular season. It’s more like betting a coin flip or what color tee you are going to pull out of your bag. If you get it right, great, if not, damn. You can’t bet a lot in preseason but it’s always more fun to have a little action on it.
  13. Don’t you judge me!!
  14. Erik and his team do a great job. They are incredibly knowledgeable. The level of depth that they go to is past any Bills coverage I’ve ever seen from the media. The only other place that you can get that level of analysis is from some of the great posters here. We are blessed to have a handful of people that really dig in like that.
  15. I don’t remember anyone questioning his ability? His decision making on and off the field, combined with his health is why he got knocked way down the board. You been saw it the other night. He made some great plays with his arm and legs. Later Chad threw and INT and then threw a pick 6 that the DB dropped. A lot of good mixed with some bad. He’s miles ahead of Paxton Lynch though IMO. Chad can make plays.
  16. Teller was great the other night. He mauled guys.
  17. I could see the Bills taking a run at the kid at UB or the Ole Miss kid. Those guys have high ceilings. They are probably going to bring back Benjamin but he’s not a good #1 IMO. If you could add a guy with similar talent and more speed you could be really good at the position.
  18. Love impressed me a lot!! I found myself wondering who it was like 3 times. He’s probably a PS guy IMO but has a chance to make the team. That’s my issue. He isn’t expensive. I just think that he’s limited and not reliable off the field. If you could turn him into a functioning CB you’d have to IMO.
  19. One of the big misconceptions around here seems to be that Dak was bad last year. He wasn’t. Last year he was 9-7, threw for 3,324 yards, threw 22 TDs and ran for another 6. He completed 62.9% of his passes with limited weapons (and Zeke suspension). He did throw 13 INTs but had an 86.6 rating and a 66.3 QBR. That’s above average starting QB play, not the play of an average 4th rounder. He may not be a future HOFer but if you are a Cowboys fan you are thrilled with how he’s started his career. He looks like, at worst, a good starter.
  20. I could see a player for player trade like the one where we traded Chris White for Thad Lewis. Maybe they use a QB, a receiver or DL to try to get a CB? How about something like Adolphus Washington for Mackensie Alexander? The Vikings have crazy CB depth and could use another interior DL. Washington would probably crack their 2 deep and with the addition of Mike Hughes, Alexander is their 4th or 5th CB.
