  1. I respect that this is the mountain that you are going to die on. The reality is the difference in talent is so obvious. As Darren Woodson said, “Allen looks like he is going to be a superstar.” There is literally no reason to have him on the bench. He may be their best QB already and has looked the part. We all know that sooner or later he is getting the keys. My question is “why wait?” Also, I accept Venmo
  2. ...and it’s fair. With that being said, he’s big, strong and elusive. He has a better chance of succeeding under pressure than the other 2.
  3. Oh, it could be bad. It also could be a GREAT thing for his development. Throw him in the deep end and see how he swims.
  4. It’s a legit concern but will it be better in week 4? Week 8? The line is what it is.
  5. We are beyond the point of this being a question. Allen may be their best QB already. There is certainly no reason to sit him behind these guys. Allen is going to be the key.
  6. This is a good, and timely, topic. There are 2 schools of thought. You could go with a guy like Matt Moore that may be your #2. You also could go with a young guy that maybe is a PS guy. It will depend on cuts for that though. If I had to pick I’d probably sign Moore and let him compete with Peterman.
  7. The Bills don’t have a QB to keep Allen on the bench. I originally thought that he’d need a red shirt year. That’s wrong. He’s a lot tougher mentally and further along physically than I thought. Hand him the keys and don’t look back.
  8. That’s kind of what the Texans did last year.
  9. I couldn’t figure it out but you are Bernie Kosar sans the alcoholism.
  10. Josh Allen >>>>>>>>>>>> other Bills Qbs
  11. Ha ha ha ha, I kept trying to figure it out. I was like “that’s Augie!!”
  12. Bernie Kosar looks like @Augie!!!
  13. I’m always patient when dealing with a situation like this. I always give the benefit of the doubt. I’d probably call her in on Monday and ask “what happened?” Give her a chance to explain herself and then go through the appropriate way to handle it moving forward.
  14. That’s tough. Wynn is going to be a great player IMO. This is a big blow. Hope that he recovers.
  15. I don’t care who starts at the beginning. I care that Allen is the guy we are hoping for. Other than that it makes no difference to me.
  16. I was going to start a separate thread on this but decided to leave it here. Where does Teddy wind up? If I were the Jags, I’d take a swing. The Bucs, Dolphins and Broncos make some sense. I also could see a team with an aging starter trying to bring him in as their next guy (Pittsburgh, New Orleans, Giants, Pats, Chargers).
  17. If I were the Steve Buscemi character in Billy Madison, Scott Zolak’s name would be written on my wall.
  18. Why? He will obviously gameplan to beat that. The point being, they’ve already taken away what he does best. It’s not that difficult to gameplan against. It’s difficult to execute those types of plays. You can throw fades all day. They are just tough to complete. That’s fair. I’m not saying that it will be easy to execute for either side. The question that I raised is “if you take away the quick timing routes can Peterman be effective?” Maybe you and Wagon Circler are right and Daboll can get guys free. He can use motion and different formations to do that. He has a much better chance to do it than Dennison.
  19. Well there is a certain member of this board that was really high on Martez Carter. I wonder who that was ?? p.s. If Carter turns into a player I will never let anyone forget how early I adopted him.
  20. GB does have 2 1sts. They can put together a competitive offer.
  21. I think that’s all fair. The point I was making is that you can’t get rid of the ball in under 2 seconds if the guys aren’t open. That’s why teams will play that way against Peterman. They will take away all of the quick routes until he proves that he can make the other throws. He hasn’t done that yet. The throw to KB was a start. We will see I guess...
  22. I don’t know if I’m just overly optimistic but I think he’s going to end up on the Bills.
  23. I expect a variety of defenses against them. They are much more likely to beat press man. They are better down the field. I don’t think that either of them has a kryptonite. I mean are you disagreeing that Peterman will struggle if defended like that?
