Who was the best QB of the drought?

Not true, the team played much better with TT. Orton was good but not better. -

It’s Tyrod and it’s not all that close. With that being said he doesn’t belong on th poll because he played in a playoff game for the Bills. With that being said, Orton was probably next but only played part of a year. If the guys with a decent number of starts it was Fitz. Also, anyone that says Bledsoe, take out his first few games and look at what he did. He was worse than Losman and Edwards (or same league anyways). -
Pro Football HOF 2018 Class Announced

It is a really crazy story that didn’t get nearly enough publicity. The HOF voters were more than comfortable putting him in but TO needed to wait. -
Swan Song for Belichick and Brady?

I can stomach another Pats’ Super Bowl if it is the end of B&B. -
My Super Bowl prediction is that I’m going to be miserable. I’m just hoping that Brady walks away.

PLAYOFF CALIBER: END OF THE DROUGHT

It’s a little dusty in here -
What’s a better scenario than $35M guaranteed without the risk of injury? Also, it can’t even be debated that FA is best. Competition will drive his money. If the Redskins limit the market he will make less. That’s why he should call their bluff. “If you tag me, I will sign it. I will not agree to an extension wherever you try to send me. You have 2 options, let me hit FA or pay me $35M.”
-
The Redskins made a decision that they wanted to go with Alex Smith. What does Cousins owe them? Why should he take a penny less than the market will pay to appease them? In addition, the team that will be trading for him will be sending a 2nd presumably. If that is where he wants to go wouldn’t he be better off there if they had another 2nd? He shouldn’t do ANYTHING to help Washington.

Well than he can bust his butt and blow out his Achilles, see what he makes then. If they want to jerk around his career and try to force him somewhere he absolutely should stick it to them. He’s not a slave. They are controlling his money by limiting the teams that can negotiate with him. Sign the tag and never look back. I’m sure they will but FA will be better FOR HIM. He needs to do what is best for him.

Buffalo no longer WR purgatory once TT moves on

Peterman doesn’t either, he throws to DBs!! -
This would be great. He should just sign the offer sheet immediately. He can pretty much call their bluff by threatening to do that. I would think that they would have to rescind it if he said he would sign it. Imagine if it got to a situation where the Skins tagged him, he signed and then they had to start attaching assets to unload his giant contract (a la Brock Osweiler)? That would be hilarious.

Peterman is on pace to shatter Favre’s interception record!! Favre threw 336 INTs on 10,169 career pass attempts. If Peterman keeps on his current regular season pace he will reach 337 by pass attempt 3,303. If Peterman reaches Favre’s 10,169 pass attempts (at his current pace) he will have thrown 1,038 INTs or 309% more INTs than the guy that is 2nd all-time. If we added in his playoff attempts it would be more. -

I think that he is 2nd but Marvin Harrison shot a guy. He just didn’t die. -
Good post!! McVay confirmed what the majority of NFL fans knew, Jeff Fisher was AWFUL. The Rams traded their 1971 Ford Pinto for a Lamborghini.

Yeah, I think TO had fun in Buffalo. He was by all accounts a good teammate. I love ultra-competitive people though (like Baker). I don’t ever get mad at a guy for wanting the ball and wanting to win. That holds especially true for elite players. If Shady demanded the ball more I would support it. If Tolbert did I would spit my drink out.
