  1. Tell me the CBA that the owner’s didn’t win? Billionaires can ALWAYS wait out millionaires. This isn’t a bad deal for either side. The Tannehill contract should show us that. The pot testing wasn’t some leverage. It was an antiquated policy that looked bad for everyone. Players missing 25% of the games for something legal in many places wasn’t good for either side. The fact that it’s a safer pain management alternative to what they allow made this a no brainer. Neither side wanted it. That’s been my point and I’ve been proven correct. Weo has been saying it’d never happen and then tried to be “half wrong” by making it all about the leverage. This was something no one wanted any longer and the CBA was an easy place to update their policies to reflect 2020 America.
  2. Oh man, you must be furious that they stopped testing for weed after you guaranteed that wouldn’t happen. That was in the owner’s proposal!! You were pretty wrong on that one
  3. Selfishly, I like the 17 games because I get to see the Bills once more in a real game. As it’s currently structured I HATE it. There should be a 2nd bye week and you can’t have teams competing for playoff spots that play a different number of home games.
  4. 100% it’s not, especially when the team “ahead of them” can be determined by a coin flip. We aren’t watering it down.
  5. Something like 500 players didn’t vote at all
  6. He has competitive speed though. Dobbins hits a LOT of big runs. He’s a gamer too. He has a super high floor imo. Assuming he avoids injury it’s pretty much a guarantee he will be a quality back.
  7. He was on a crazy run for a little while. I wouldn’t either. If it were Lamb that would probably be a bit of an indictment on the other 2 imo. At this point, I honestly think one of those top 3 is the plan for the Bills. Whether or not they can make the move is another story.
  8. It’s absolutely possible. I‘d be curious to hear Daboll’s thoughts on the Alabama guys. If they make that move for one of them that’s probably a good sign. The fact that someone that has coached them wants them would speak volumes.
  9. I’m usually a gambler on high ceiling guys. Perriman to me is just too risky. He played great last year but I wonder if it is more Arians offense? I wouldn’t hate it because he has a high ceiling (and speed) but he scares me some.
  10. I could see them sliding back some but I really think, based on their meetings, that WR will be the pick. They even spent a ton of time with those top 3 guys and none of them are likely to be there. That tells me that they’d even consider trading up. On a side note, I wonder what their board looks like? If there are exactly 3 WRs gone and they take the 4th guy we will get to see who was next.
  11. I think that you have them backwards. Taylor is an option in the 2nd (as is Swift, Dobbins or Edwards-Helaire) imo. The receiver will likely come before we take a RB.
  12. I think that there will be 2 added. It’s going to be one of each. If you sign the speed you’ll draft a bigger back. If you sign the bigger back you’ll draft the speed (someone like Darrynton Evans or Anthony McFarland).
  13. Not sure where to put this but thought it was pretty crazy
  14. How about Carlos Hyde or Lamar Miller? Either one of them would be an improvement over Gore at this point. You’d still probably draft a guy but I think either would quietly be nice additions.
  15. Touché, that’s tomorrow
  16. How did I know you were going to say that ?
  17. If Knox develops they’ll be okay. If he doesn’t it’s a bad group as always
  18. Kelly can’t pay for every meal...
  19. On the eve of the legal tampering period I thought this would be a fun topic. We’ve been bantering for months as to what we wanted this offseason. The goal of this exercise is to add one player to the Bill. The catch is that you have to factor in the cap number. As an example I think all of us would prefer Amari Cooper to Taylor Gabriel. Would you prefer Cooper at $20M a year to Gabriel at $5M? The goal is to add one player or re-sign one player at a realistic number. If the Bills only issued 1 more contract this offseason what would you want it to be? That doesn’t necessarily mean that it has to be the biggest impact player either. It has to be the best “bang for the buck.” What’s the most impact that you can have for the least amount of $$? I will go first and say Robby Anderson at 4 years $45M with $22M guaranteed. Anderson is 26 and has the upside of a number 1 WR imo. He immediately makes the WR room better and more complete. At the same time he’s going to cost just over half of what Cooper does. You can still add a guy in the draft but the urgency to do so is less. I expect the Bills to add 1-2 guys in or above this price point. Anderson for me would be my target. Who is it for you?
  20. The story as to what happened with them is pretty wild. It involves a HOF QB, a HOF WR, a former news woman, and the backseat of a car.
  21. He’s a player that I always liked but he looks done to me
