  1. Jessie Pegula's tweeitng to Trump "It isn't always about money. You're fired "
  2. Nope! #wastednameplate
  3. I'll say it again....whoa, whoa, whoa...slow your roll young man!
  4. Ah...EJ's best game. I get your point (and I am an "EJ guy" so I am not bashing), but that pass that you linked is a different kind of throw than the one that Orton threw to Goodwin in that Lions game. I think EJ can overthrow coverage to a guy who has beaten coverage, as in the play you linked. It is those outside passes, along the sideline, where he really has struggled. He had one very nice one earlier in the season to Chandler (can't remember which game now....my memory sucks!), but it is not his strength. EJ's arm strength has never been in question, it is that damned accuracy issue that won't go away.
  5. Most important, in all of this...do I pick up Austin Davis as my one week fantasy football starter against the Bucs, in two weeks, when Jay Cutler is on the bye?
  6. All it takes is one win, no matter who it comes against, and everyone is so friggin' happy...one loss, and....well, you know...sucidal...psychos!
  7. Hey man...just trying to get eyeballs! I agree though, Schopp is always a lot more patient with callers on his Hobby show than he is during the afternoon show. I think people mistake Schopps' style for "supriority", but I don't think it is that at all. I think he just trys to take a unique outlook on things (cuz lets' face it, talking Bills and Sabres 5 or 6 days a week has to get pretty stale), and digs into that position, even when it doesn't really make a lot of sense. I loved his Hobby show, and I think, honestly, he is somebody I would get along with as a friend...but I also aware that he rubs people the wrong way. Well, in the OP's defense (me!), GR thought it was a big enough deal to put it in their audio vault, as its' own entry.
  8. Agreed. I just thoght it was funny...especially knowing how much Schopp is reviled here, in part for his abrupt style. It was very clear that he didn't realize it. He was pretty embarassed later to find out it was TPegs...and he asks Schopp "how you doing Mike?" Perhaps the "pettest" of Schopps' peaves!
  9. Forgive me if this has been posted...I searched and didn't find this anywhere... Apparently, on the last call of his sports collectible show on Saturday (which incidentally is the last installment of the show) Mike Schopp took a call from "Terry". It was Terry Pegula...Schopp didn't know it, and as his style, cut him off, because he wanted to do get his final words in, to people who have been listening to his show for years...pretty funny, I think. The call: http://media.wgr550....s-the-hobby.htm I don't hate Schopp as much as some here do, though I completely understand why some would...I have listened to his sports collectables show, The Hobby, for years (on audio vault), and the one thing that was always apparent, Schopp had a hard time getting callers...so he finally gets someone, and it is Terry "frigging" Pegula, and he cuts him off! Hilarious! In his defense, he didn't realize it was Pegula....
  10. The only only way I would have ever wanted Trump as an owner, was if he was the absolute only chance of the team staying. I could understand, perhaps, him being bitter, but the personal insults thrown at Pegula are pretty low, even by his admittedly low standards. I almost think that it just killed Trump to see the almost "god-like" stature that the Pegulas were annointed with by their actions in WNY, not their words. Trump is the only one who worships Donald Trump.
  11. From the article: "As if that wasn't prohibitive enough for a player who was a healthy scratch in Week 6 because the team needed special teams help, Bills general manager Doug Whaley is seeking value commensurate to a No. 1 receiver in return for Williams. "If he gets me compensation worthy of a No. 1 receiver, which he claimed he is," Whaley said, "then we would entertain it." We can't imagine any team shelling out in excess of $6 million and draft picks for a disgruntled wide receiver with eight catches, 142 yards and well-established character concerns." I would be shocked it Whaley got #1 receiver value for him... but I also would be shocked if Whaley sticks to that demand...
  12. This is pretty funny...but I don't think it is real. I work at a University, and have seen/heard rumor of the same sign being posted around campus. Seems like somebody is just having a little fun with it!
  13. It may be that way on Time Warner as well....I was kind of guessing it would be two weeks...but maybe three.
  14. Sorry if this has been mentioned already...but Rodak said that the nameplate was taken off of Mike Williams locker at some point on Sunday. The 6 other inactives on the roster still had their lockers and nameplates. I would have to think that would have been Mike Williams doing...but who knows? I can understand his frustration. The guy has performed at a very high level in the NFL, and has been a very productive player. While it is true he has had his off the field problems, lets' not forget, the Bucs, just last season, viewed him as a #1 receiver, and gave him a pretty nice contract, based on his performance. The reasons he is no longer a Buc have to do with off the field issues, not performance.
  15. thebandit27, jimmy10, and 26cornerblitz, along with other sources, are reporting that Frank Reich will be the next coach of the Buffalo Bills. 26cornerblitz is one of the best in the business...if he picks up this story, my ears are automatically perked!
  16. Hadn't heard about any off the field issues since he has been a Bill... I was very surprised when he wasn't dressed for yesterdays' game. I just assumed they were sitting him, because they wanted to give Hogan more playing time, and wanted more line rotation for the matchup yesterday... too bad. I really thought he was going to be our "ace in the hole" this season, on offense. I guess we still haven't found one of those...
  17. I thought it was pretty good, though, I am not a big fan of their long, drawn out, action scenes...but this one was handled a bit better in than in the past. I think the show has shown some obvious "behind the scenes" improvements that started last season. I watched the show on DVR, and for some reason the final scene, after the credits got cut off...I am assumng this was the return of Morgan? All I saw was a guy (black guy) in a gas mask, reading the "No sanctuary" sign, and then it cut off... was there more to it than that? The most chilling scene of the episose, for me, was the scene where Carol goes in the room where all the possessions of the captured are seperated into like piles...very much a nod to nazi concentration camps.
  18. Obviously... Agreed...when the Patriots lose, it is because the defense gets a ton of pressure on him. When he is forced to move around in the pocket, particularly at this point in his career, his throws are less accurate, and he has shown a propensity to make more mistakes...
  19. Cuz he is a douche. But you know what? If the decision was made to fire Marrone, given Pegulas' style, I would not be at all shocked to see him make a play for Harbaugh. Or, Bill Cowher for that matter. But Jerry Sandusky is out of the question...
  20. That was the funniest part.
  21. Good catch...corrected! Thanks The Dean....good to have you back!
  22. You don't like it? The show is supposed to start in February 2015, from what I understand.
