  1. "Fact" he has become a team leader... is it a fact? I'm not sure how to judge that. Sometimes even coaches will say a guy is becoming a leader just to kind of motivate the guy, and see if he starts to assume the role. All I see from Shaq is dancing and posing by himself after he makes a "big" play. I prefer guys that turn to find others to celebrate with, or just go back to work. I don't know how we fans would know how much of a leader a guy is, unless we hear it consistently, from all kinds of sources. I can't say I have heard much about Shaq being a leader, or spoken of with reverence by teammates. I'd like him back, but he isn't irreplaceable.
  2. Yeah, I don't really get the OP's point. I think the Pats came out of it pretty well. Gee, they developed 2 guys capable of winning lots of games, and had to let one go. What losers. Let's see how the Pats do next season before gloating about any of this.
  3. I can't even remember the names of the running backs that were on any of the Patriot Super Bowl teams.... It all goes in cycles.
  4. They are both in decline, so "taking their talents elsewhere" is kind of a funny statement. Neither would take the Chargers to the playoffs, one of them MIGHT be able to take the Bucs into the playoffs, because that division is crap. I can't imagine Brady in those ugly Tampa uni's. He is too big of a name to end it all in Tampa. It's gotta be one of the more prominent franchises or not at all. I wouldn't want either of them at this point.
  5. Where is some guy like Derrick Henry? There is only one. If all it took was to have a big running back, more teams would have been doing what the Titans did with Henry. I want them to get a power back to compliment Singletary, but it's more with versatility in mind. So they can play against a variety of defenses, and have the right players for different circumstances. You don't want Singletary taking hits just to run out the clock, for instance. Gore was supposed to be that guy, but got old real quick. I'm confident that the coaching staff will bring in a nice power RB.
  6. I haven't seen much of the Packers this season, but I was shocked to find that they won their division, and got a bye. They aren't that good. The Chiefs Titans, and obviously the Niners are all better.
  7. It's not about his proclivities. First it's about his relationship with the creep (and big donor), Buck. Next it's about his motivations for attacking Trump. Considering the political climate, anyone with a brain has to question what the Democrats are so over the top about concerning Trump. He is obviously a threat to the establishment. After the Epstein fiasco, most people are at least considering that some politicians may be coerced into some of their political actions.
  8. I can see Rivers on the Dolphins. I don't see Brady on the Chargers.
  9. I think it's clear that the Bills would have benefitted from having a better WR ever on the roster. You can bicker about Watkins, but to say "Would the Bills go to the Super Bowl, if they had any of these players now?" is ridiculous...the answer is "YES" they would likely be a bit better, and maybe good enough to have advanced. So ***** off.
  10. Actually, if they had Watkins this season, they may have. I don't care what his stats were this season, on this Bills team he would have been at least as good as Brown. That would have helped ALOT.
  11. I doubt that...it didn't seem to work in Katie Hill's favor. Some street junkie going balls deep on a naked Schiff on all fours wearing bondage gear, will not be a feather in Schiff's cap.
  12. He is the slipperiest back I've ever seen. Yeah, more than Barry Sanders (who was slippery as well). NO, I'm not saying he is better than Sanders, just that he seems to slip out of tackles like no other back.
  13. At 22, I doubt there will be a need to force a pick in either direction. The offense needs help, it's not hard to figure that out.
  14. I doubt they'll have to force a pick to select a player for the offense. If you do want to move up, it'd be wiser to move up for an impact player for the offense, considering the lack of talent on that side of the ball, no?
  15. Yeah, thanks. I know what the pecking order is... Denver is 7th overall, 3rd in the AFC after the Steelers, and they have sucked since Manning retired. Anyway, I still believe a sustained top 10 national following was within their grasp.
  16. I was thinking today about how, if the Bills had sustained some reasonable success after the Kelly years, they could have become one of the "traditional teams" with a really big National (and even International) following, and joined the ranks of the Steelers and Broncos as (though maybe a bit lower ranked) one of those kind of teams.
  17. I agree. they just drafted 2 guys that both got some playing time. Next season Knox will be the main guy. I'm not averse to them getting better at TE, but I'm more concerned about WR, another O-lineman, and another RB. Maybe it's because the TE's are the only guys over 6 ft.? I think that's a factor. I think Allen has made J Brown, and Beasley look good.
