  1. Well played. I deem you winner of the first annual, never to be repeated, John Murphy Game.
  2. Welcome to the John Murphy Game! I don't listen too often, but there is something I notice each time. He asks questions in a way where the only possible response is to agree with him. For example, when the whole "where could a new stadium be built" discussion was in full swing, John had on a reporter from Rochester. With regards to a stadium being built in Batavia, John asked, "You got to think a stadium in Batavia would be better for people in Rochester, right?" What is the gentleman supposed to say to that? He also asked Chris Brown one time, "If the defense can improve, this team should have a better chance for more wins, right?" The John Murphy Game consists of coming up with questions John would ask for certain guests, either football related or not. For example, he might ask O.J. Simpson, "It was probably a bad idea to commit armed robbery in Vegas, am I right?" P.S. It's the off-season, so I'm bored.
  3. When Marvin Lewis took over the Bengals in 2003, were they supposed to be good? He went 8-8 the first two years and they stuck with him. I think that as long as the season is not a total dumpster fire (6-10 record with no major injuries or something like that) have Rex come back for at least one more.
  4. Wow I can't believe the WR problem is no more. Oh crap, he said "if" and "2013", didn't he? Back to the drawing board.
  5. I can't believe this is 4 pages deep. Way to move the needle Hanky Panky.
  6. There might have been one or two...or twenty. I don't recall.
  7. I'm going to guess Taylor goes 10-15 with 8 to Sammy and two to the running backs. The battle of Salas vs. Hankerson will end in a 0-0 tie.
  8. I think the big question regarding this game is who gets more receptions: Greg Salas or Leonard Hankerson?
  9. On the previous play, there was a blow to the head.
  10. Girl: "I wish you would be more romantic." Dude: "See that red sedan which offers no privacy whatsoever?" Girl: "Uh huh." Dude: "Let the romance commence." Btw, I wonder if he filled the "A" gap on that play.
  11. I love how the driver just keeps on going after he busts the truck up. Perhaps he didn't feel the impact. It did look like he barely grazed that overpass.
  12. I think it might be a nagging flu and he'll be week-to-week going forward.
  13. I think he should rock a Kelso helmet.
  14. Who's the most overdebated? Other than EJ of course. (I do realize overdebated is not a real word)
  15. By my calculations, the practice squad running back is 18th on the depth chart for quarterbacks. With our luck this season, he'll start by week 12.
  16. According to Wikipedia, we are team number 8 for Mr. Maysonet.
  17. Did they seriously go to a commercial break right now?
  18. If KW is Kyle Williams, Roman is more of a genius than I thought.
  19. We could hear an announcer say, "Wood runs behind the pulling Wood with blocking downfield by Woods."
  20. That was one of the most blatant tackles of a defensive player I have ever seen.
  21. ESPN dropped us two spots to #10. I guess if we win by double digits next week, we may fall out of the top 15. http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2015/week/4
  22. If this is already being discussed, please delete this thread. Now that you've seen how the Colts played against the Jets, does it change your feelings about our win in week 1? Most thought that beating the Colts was a fairly big deal since they were supposed to contend this year. I have no idea if last night showed that the Colts are a hot mess or that the Jets are a real force to be reckoned with.
  23. I guess that's why the Pope didn't include Boston on his U.S. tour.
