  1. Of your mentions, Bradford is the one I'd go after if he were available and affordable. Sure, he's had injury problems but IMO thats just bad luck and nothing more. I just dont see where we are going to find a better QB in either the draft or FA. They are pretty darn rare. Also, I wouldn't get rid of Orton. yea, he's struggling at the moment but he knows the game. He wont kill you.
  2. He'll get wrecked out of the backfield. Use him as a situational receiver for now . Keep him healthy if possible. Trade him in 2015. He gets hurt too easily...and is no great shakes. Appears Sammy for Stevie = total wash. Sorry I'm just not seeing it in Sammy.
  3. Yup. He's a media darling for sure. Not a bad QB really. He'll get better. If not, he's the frosting on the cake of yet another bad QB crop that we thought was amazing. Although Russel Wilson is pretty good, but surrounded with talent. I'm OK with Orton....since I cant think of anyone to replace him with this coming year...except EJ and he obviously needs work too.
  4. Not understanding this thread. That was simply a big hit. A block on a pro bowl linebacker. He didnt lead with his head. He didnt go for the knees. I'm not understanding why this is even being talked about....other than it was a very good block that took a GREAT defender out of the play.
  5. Not sure what a flame-out fan is but I'll concede that I was wrong here thinking Johnny Football would play well against Cincy. Not the 1st time and wont be the last. Hey...we've all been wrong once in a while, right ? But I take pride in admitting it, something YOU WILL NEVER DO. Go cut and paste some more links. GO BILLS !!
  6. Thats the last thing I want to see if I'm Cincinattis' DC. Improvising is how he'll hurt you. Yes, its risky with today's league speed. Kaepernick has never been a pure pocket passer in HS or college. He is struggling now because they are trying to turn him into one. Its not natural. Same with rgIII pretty much, but with his injury history its probably best. Frankly I'd tell all 3 of these guys to play wide open. Its how they got to where they are. But damnit RG..please ....slide when the danger is near. Yer gonna get killed.
  7. Steel cannot be penetrated. You can continue to use a mechanic in a can, or you can modify your machine. PAM anti-stick cooking spray works as well as any of the other stuff.
  8. Well, the fact it was a bad snap has also been conveniently omitted on this here chat board. EDIT: No agenda there.....I'm just sayin.......
  9. I'll head to a Browns Backer bar to see this (along with Buffalo of course) if necessary. I'm very excited to see this kid play. To me, its becoming kind of a "cookie cutter" league offensively. Boring. Having watched Fran Tarkenton all those years ago and to some extent Doug Flutie, I welcome an unorthodox style of play at the QB position. Just fun to watch. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see this kid have some success.
  10. So, other than garbage time what exactly did Sammy do? Besides have yet another 3 drops when it mattered? Oh wait...that was Orton. Never mind. Sammy is the most over-rated rookie ever. He's really not very good. or...any better than Stevie was.
  11. Totally agree with this ^^^. Changing coaches every other year has not worked for us. The only thing a new coach brings.....is different. Not necessarily better...and often worse, but different. I really cant throw any big stones at Marrone. Over all we are a better team under his leadership. We need stability at the coaching level. I absolutely believe he will get us into the playoffs next year. No reason whatsoever to fire the man at this point in time. IMHO. Keep up the good work, Doug. Those of us who are patient believe in you. Buffalo wins in blow-out fashion today: Buffalo 37 Denver 6 GO BILLS!!
  12. Gruden has a 4 year 5 mil per year deal if memory serves. Not buying the PFT report. I think III will go, not the coach. III has tanked mostly due to injury, which is sad. I think they will cut ties with him WAY before they get rid of Gruden.
  13. I hadn't thought of that but.....good point. A little locker room material is a good thing.
  14. Good article. Thanks. I also expect a big game from him tomorrow. Just a gut feeling...and he's due. This is basically our super bowl at the moment and to be honest, I would love nothing more than seeing Boobie and Bryce get 250 yards. If that were to happen (yea a long shot I know) we win this game easily. GO BILLS !!
  15. Unless its your kid getting that cheap shot. Anyone who cheered for that hit is not a fan, nor a decent human. If you are under 14 years old..you get a pass.
  16. A fan just called in to the Mike Ditulio (sp?) show. The caller said..........(and I thought mildly interesting) that Johnny came over to some kids before the Bills game during warm-ups that were calling his name. The guy said he joked, laughed, signed autographs for the kids for about 5 minutes. Nice hearing this kind of thing.
  17. Look no further than this thread...or anywhere on this web site. Bills fans suck. Wont hear a peep out of any of you if we win. And yes...its entirely possible.
  18. He was joking but those guys talk other 7-5 teams like they have a huge chance and give absolutely zero chance or respect to Buffalo. Annoying. Fellas, they are no smarter than us.....they just follow the herd and YES...Sunday cannot get here soon enough.
  19. Well I guess that settles it then. ps...he was flat-out awesome with that QB.... that horribly innacurate QB throwing to him. No ? I'm done here.
  20. He has been hurt most of the season, and he's had a bunch of drops. He gets a pass though....which is rare on this board. Sorry man, but I'm just not seeing it in this kid...yet. For what we paid for him. EDIT: If his name were Kolb the board would say he's made of glass. He gets a pass for whatever reason. He'll be good one day if he ever gets healthy, but we probably whiffed yet again.
  21. I'm thinking since Hoyer got them to 7-4, that they'd be best to stick with him for now. The Browns are still in this thing. Stick with what has worked. Some of the picks Hoyer has thrown have been more of a miscommunication with Josh than bad arm throws by Hoyer. I'd leave well enough alone if I were them...for now. Hoyer will be fine.
