  1. Your honor....I thought the sound I heard was the rain hitting my car, I couldn't see a thing because it was pitch black out, there are no street lights in downtown Buffalo and a song was playing on my radio that had a bunch of "thumping" bass notes. Whomever was driving the car is a scumbag and I can guarantee that when they finally talk, the CRAP coming out of their mouth will be very similar to what I stated above.
  2. For the 3rd time, unless you know that they were playing music at a volume that would have precluded them from hearing a person bounce off the car, stop speculating it. Okay chief.
  3. That's assuming it is an adult doing the posting.
  4. Playing music or blaring music. If you are going to make stuff up, at least be consistent chief.
  5. I would say that it is a pretty good bet that the news of Ralph getting dragged before a grand jury will make it to most sports websites by mid-day tomorrow(if not sooner).
  6. Dark? They do have streetlights in the city. It's not like they were driving down some country road. Music blaring? Just the facts please and not some bull sh-- to support your argument.

  8. Yeah, I am sure that Ralph and the other Bills officials and players think it is COOL that they are going before a grand jury. But like you said, they have Lynch's back and that is all that matters. What happens on Chippewa stays on Chippewa.
  9. My daughter who just turned 14 has a Nokia flip phone(pretty generic phone w/camera). It is a prepaid phone and I told her I will put $25 on the phone every 6-8 weeks. She has it primarily to call us and minimal use with her friends. She was just complaining that all her friends have the latest and greatest phones from blackberrys to sidekicks to razors to iphones. I told her that as soon as she gets a job she is more than welcome to get one for herself. I'm amazed how much parents bend when it comes to their kids.
  10. Where was it stated that this was a "RESPONSIBLE" home party? Did Gurtler have plans for all 40+ underage kids to stay the night? Did Gurtler get the okay of all the parents to serve alcohol to their minor children? Furthermore, it's not what people think 18 year old kids are up to, it's what are they up to with the help of adults.
  11. I just came across this thread and am amazed that it took 63 posts in this thread for this to be mentioned. Its good to see someone realize that Gurtler could have found himself in a HUGE heap of trouble had one of those kids got into an accident afterwards.
  12. I like how the victim has become a "drunken jaywalking B word". Unbelievable.
  13. I give up. You win.
  14. Yes, that is the most likely scenario... After the car hit the girl, the driver rolled down his window, asked if she was okay and then went speeding off.
  15. What does anyone driving drunk(your post above) have to do with another poster comparing moving traffic violations(speeding, illegal lane changes, etc...) with hit-n-run? Then you further the cause by talking about tapping bumpers with a parked car and driving away without leaving information. Once again how does this compare to a hit-n-run. Sometimes I wonder why I post here at all.
  16. What was well thought out? All the excuses made for why it was okay to drive away from a hit and run?
  17. You could have saved yourself a lot of typing by just posting your last sentence.
  18. The amount of posts in multiple threads referencing the fact that "she wasn't hurt seriously", so therefore what is the big deal are mind boggling. Even more ridiculous are the ones stating that "maybe the driver didn't realize they hit somebody". Do you really believe that Lynch or whomever was driving the car at the time was aware of the condition of the victim as they drove away? I don't think so. They were to busy getting the hell out of dodge. Get your friggin' heads out of the sand.
  19. So first there is no difference between speeding and a hit and run and now Marshawn hangs out with nothing but stunt doubles. I can't wait to read your next post on this subject.
  20. Excellent post...comparing speeding, changing lanes without turn signals and jaywalking with a hit and run. Keep up the good work.
  21. I just came across a very funny but appropriate typo in a Business First waterfront article... ... Asbestos is being removed from both the Aud and Donovan buildings. The Aud asbestos removal should be completed by late September while the Donovan Building will be demolition-ready by early December. Rosenow said he expects to award the Aud demolition contract by late August or early September and the Donovan demolition contracts by late December. Both buildings should be demolished by early spring and ready for the Bass Pro construction within the next 12 years. "The demolition of the Aud is particularly complex," Rosenow said. "There's very limited room of staging the cranes." http://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/stories...26/daily21.html
  22. His play on the field has nothing to do with the fact that if he is "busted" as you say, he is still a PoS off the field.
  23. I fixed your post.
