  1. Yeah they are worth a chuckle as long as they aren't tripping over you, spilling their beer on you or puking on you. Luckily at least for yesterday, I escaped all 3 of these scenarios.
  2. No doubt about it. I should have known better.
  3. Disclaimer...I like to have a good time and a few beers when going to the game, but despite the new code of conduct, nothing has changed. I saw a group of guys(4 in one row and 3 in the row directly in front of them) in the upper deck around the 30 yard line stand for the entire first half and a lot of the 2nd half. It wasn't like they were cheering wildly, just standing for the sake of standing. If I didn't know better, I'd swear they were just doing it, hoping that someone would challenge them on it. They didn't block my view as I was one section over, but I would have been pissed if I was right behind them. So much for the part about the "excessive standing" part of the new code of conduct. http://www.buffalobills.com/facility/FanCodeofConduct.jsp Also, more so than guys, I saw numerous "20 something girls" absolutely bombed, both outside the stadium before the game and inside the stadium during the game. PS Great win for the Bills and a big FU to the weather forecasters. I checked the weather on Saturday night and the forecast was for partly sunny skies. I wake up Sunday morning and leave for the game and it could not have been a more perfect weather day with the skies as blue as can be...until game time! It is safe to say I didn't have any rain gear with me
  4. Why? He contributes noting sports related and has aspirations of being a stand up comic.
  5. Could someone please provide a link to the fact that Peters is fat and out of shape? If not, stop making crap up just because you don't like the fact that he held out of camp.
  6. but but but...I thought he was throwing his nfl career away?
  7. This can't be...I read numerous times here that Peters is throwing away his NFL career?
  8. The best part of that play was London Fletcher laying out Woody(in the background). At least I believe it was Woody and Fletcher.
  9. This makes no sense at all. If his surgery didn't go well and he was still hurt, he would still show up and GET PAID under the terms of his current contract instead of sitting home and NOT GET PAID. hmmmm.
  10. Nobody really knows what weight Schobel or any other DE is playing at, but IF his play is lacking and he appears to be getting pushed around, this is the first question that will be asked.
  11. Fantastic idea. You have any more that you want to share.
  12. Maybe this is the same doctor that gave Tim Connolly a clean bill of health which in turn led to a 3 year 10 mil contract which was then followed by him missing the entire season due to said concussion.
  13. I was listening to the sirius nfl channel when they announced this as "breaking" news. Where is the news? A former NFL QB who won't sign a contract to be a backup(he had at least 2 offers, GB and another team) and turned both down because he wanted to compete for a starting job. He was unemployed the entire offseason and is still unemployed today. Who cares! The season starts tonight and Shein and Wilcots couldn't stop droaning on about Culpepper.
  14. Give it a rest already. How is he throwing away his career in the NFL? He isn't the first guy to hold out(including the regular season) and he won't be the last. His future may not be with the Bills depending on how this plays out, but he still will have a long NFL career unless there is something going on behind the scenes that hasn't been made public yet.
  15. Schoop only talks about the Sabres because the games are carried on WGR. If not, it would be non stop tennis and baseball followed by anything non sports related. Sirius radio is a wonderful thing.
  16. The only thing I want to know about this defense... Will they be able to generate a pass rush from the front 4?
  17. Not epic? If he scored 15 TD's it would be beyond epic. Here are the league leaders in receiving TD's since 2000... 07 - 23 06 - 13 05 - 12 04 - 16 03 - 17 02 - 13 01 - 16 00 - 15 These are the best WR's playing with the best QB's in the NFL, yet you expect a 2nd round rookie who may not be starting, to get 15 TD's this year playing with a 2nd year QB who is without his LT? Any other predictions?
  18. 16 TD's? Is he even starting over Josh Reed? 4-6 TD's is a much more realistic prediction. Actually going two practices without his hammy bothering him would be a GREAT start to his career.
  19. The Buffalo News seems to do a piece every summer about how these numbers get inflated. Taste of Buffalo and the Allentown Art Festival in particular seem have "high" numbers every year.
  20. Where did you read that he is walking away from an NFL career? Last time I looked, he hadn't even missed a single game check...yet.
  21. Peters is now lazy and fat? It's amazing on TSW how fast players go from the penthouse to the outhouse(Peters) and vice versa(Youboty).
  22. Not that much worse than a 4th round pick who lasted one season with his team...Dwayne Wright.
  23. Getting the best of Krumrie during his infamous wrestling test will only get you so far when it comes to the NFL.
  24. Peters silence throughout the holdout is puzzling to me. Except for a couple of reported text exchanges between Dockery and Peters, there has been no reported media contact at all. I'm not even sure there has been a statement from Parker. I'm not saying it is the right way to go, but don't the players and/or agents sometimes use the media during contract disputes in order to sway public opinion their way? I really thought he would show up after the team broke training camp...now I'm not sure when(if) he will show up.
