  1. It may not be the best solution but in this situation where the refs KNOW they screwed up, at least give the ball to the Chargers at the dead ball spot. This won't be possible in all situations because players will stop pursuing when they hear the whistle but the Chargers clearly recovered that ball before Cutler had a chance.
  2. We're winning and that's all that matters. The offense looks more consistent than I've seen in a long time. I think they'll only get better.
  3. Good thought. Do they watch which numbers come onto the field though? So they'd know a running back (Jackson) had come in to cover the kick?
  4. Yup, I gotcha. Yeah, my question was if the call had gone entirely J-ville's way, meaning legal lateral and they recovered. But man that would've been brutal if they got to call another play!
  5. Maybe it's like that highschool basketball play I'd seen on youtube where the team is trying to inbound the ball and one of the players just starts barking like a dog to distract the other team. It's a Bobby April WTF moment!
  6. On the very last play of the Jags game, Matt Jones caught the pass and tried to lateral it to someone else. The play was reviewed and eventually called an illegal forward pass but the clock was stopped with 3 seconds left to review the play. As they were reviewing it, I was thinking, 'what does it matter? they don't have any timeouts and he's down in-bounds'. But what would have happened if the review had been called legal? the play went to official review (under 2:00) and then, if it was considered down by contact, would the Jags have been able to line up with 3 seconds on the clock still?
  7. at one point in the game, they showed Fred Jackson lying down just before a kickoff. Was he trying to hide? Was he stretching? It was pretty weird. Anyone know what was up with that?
  8. THis is a great resource guys, thanks!
  9. I'd say Losman. I don't think Holcomb is getting us to the playoffs anyway. So I'd rather have JP in there and see what he can do with a full year of experience with the same system. Here's hoping!
  10. Thanks for the help guys. I'll check out Lakeshore. I'd prefer an 18 hole course and St. John Fisher is only 9. But we'll see. Thanks again.
  11. Hey everyone, I'm looking for a bit of advice. I'm heading to training camp on August 8th and was wondering if anyone can suggest a nice but reasonable golf course near St. John Fisher. I'm coming in from Toronto so even something along the way. I was looking at Genesse Valley and Durand East. Any thoughts? Thanks much.
