My response to you had to do with you saying our ST have been shaky the last few years DESPITE having these all-world ST standouts.

So the notion that having dedicated ST players makes for great ST, is not working. 😉

A bit of a stretch. If this is true, he will be scooped up, make a 53 man roster, and be part of a teams dime package.

Kumerow, Matekevich & Jones. How do they justify keeping all 3, considering 2 of the 4 ST units(kickoff & kickoff return units) have been neutered 2/3 of the time(just a rough guess on my part) by touchbacks? Therefore, they keep 3 guys mainly for punt & punt return teams? Seems like a luxury to me. 1 of the 3 players…ok. 2 of the 3…tough sell. All 3…no way. Not when good young players will be cut to keep the ST’ers on the roster.

If Hodgins is doing everything he should be in addition to catching the ball(route adjustments, run blocking, etc…) then yes, he should stay despite his inability to stay healthy to date.

Said this in the GDT, but John Murphy needs to be replaced. He is bad and has aways been bad. Case in point…I was only in the car listening for 20 min. Talking about Alec Pierce… ”Alec Pierce, 7th round pick, no, 2nd round pick, make that 1st round pick…” How about doing a little more prep work Murph. This isn’t some scrub who won’t make it past the 1st cut. He will probably be one of their top 3 WR’s. Just one example of his terrible work, but make no mistake, listen to the whole game, and the post would be lengthy.

Despite the WR barely getting a finger on the ball, Tasker insisted that the 1st Keenum int was on the WR. 🤔

That isn’t a bad day…it’s the norm. 😉

I am nitpicking but I heard several reports on local TV today stating that “training camp is over”. Ummm…that would not be true.
