  1. I have to think Stevie is considered a leader for this team, but the only thing I can think of against that is that he seems to be most vocal in the offseason...
  2. I would call LG and WR severe needs. I think Bradham should get a shot at starting for a full season.
  3. This isn't something to get super excited about, but it's a solid signing. Lawsom should get a shot to start and be a three-down guy here (which probably isn't a good thing), but it's something. More than we've had. I've always liked Lawson and wanted him two years ago. Let's hope we didn't overpay on the four-year deal.
  4. http://www.profootba...ate-washington/ The Tennessee Titans are shopping Nate Washington and has had preliminary talks with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns.
  5. Geno is the only clear top 10 QB in this draft, in my opinion. I think he and Ryan Tannehill are close as far as both of them going out of college. I would take Geno at 8 if he's there without hesitation. I think one of Geno, Patterson, Warmack (if Levitre walks) or Jordan will be the pick (if the draft were tomorrow). I would prefer not Warmack, just because that'd mean we wouldn't have the need for him. I would personally take Glennon at 8 as well, but I understand why people don't see him as a top 10 pick.
  6. Would've preferred the long-term deal. I'm almost 100% convinced that Levitre will be gone.
  7. Just stop. He's a 5th rounder at best...
  8. Giants would match that. You'd have to overpay him severely to get a deal done. That along with the first rounder makes me say no.
  9. The only teams above us I see taking a QB are Oakland or Arizona.
  10. The solid showing by Patterson, in my opinion, makes him the clear number one WR at this point. Which also makes me think he'd be the pick if the draft was tomorrow. Nix talked a lot about building how Cincy did with a WR and a QB in the same draft. QBs don't appear to be the likely pick right now, but Patterson might be worth the pick. Hunter and Hopkins are two other guys I really love. Da'Rick Rogers will be an absolute steal if he gets into the third round. I personally think this could go down as the deepest WR draft of all time. I see a lot of guys who could be number one or at least number two guys in a few years. Maybe nobody on an ELITE level (although there are multiple who have the potential).
  11. DEAR JARVIS JONES SUPPORTERS: How do you plan on using him? Please, explain. If you have a new idea, let me know. Because he's a 4-3 defensive end with no versatility. Some will tell you he can play 4-3 OLB, but watch the film on him before you get excited. He started nearly 100% of plays standing up at the line of scrimmage, and used speed to get around the edge. In the NFL, he'd lose that speed advantage because of the athletic tackles, and he'd have to rely more on strength. Can he do that? Maybe. In three games of film I watched, he dropped back into coverage a total of seven times, so how can you possibly expect him to start doing that at the NFL level from the 4-3 OLB spot? No, you can't. 3-4 will only be AT MOST one third of our defense. Can you draft a guy with health issues who can only excel in one third of your defense at the eight spot? Absolutely not. Our defense will be more 4-3 than 3-4, but, as Pettine said, the nickel will be a huge part of it, as well. The nickel is another scheme he has to sit in until/IF he learns how to cover NFL players. Dion Jordan is more appealing than Jones because he has the true ability to play defensive end. But I'm not sure we should be looking DE/3-4 OLB gimmick with the 8th pick.
  12. I'm nearly 100% sure that AT THIS POINT, Cordarrelle Patterson would be the pick. So much evidence. He's cementing his stock at the combine. Nix said he wants to build like the Bengals (WR and QB in the same draft early). We didn't tender two of our WRs.
  13. Manual in round two would be such a terrible mistake. He's a 5th round prospect (by multiple accounts), but many agree that he will go in the 2nd to a team stupid enough to take him there. He's a 5th round project. Nothing more. You ignore the existence of Tyler Wilson and Mike Glennon, does that mean you wouldn't draft them at all?
  14. Tyler Wilson would be a great option, Manuel? Not so much.
  15. Great !@#$ing bargaining tool, Buddy. This is how NOT to negotiate a contract. Leodis is valuable for depth at corner and his return skills. Calling him a starter raises his value... what a dumbass.
  16. At least this one isn't rigged like Fox's was. I don't have the motivation to find the video, but one of the participants in Fox's marijuana driving tests showed behind the scenes footage where they would force the contestant to wreck, record it and then be done with recording.
  17. If you read the post, I address the fact that he wasn't cheap last summer. Thanks man, took me forever to figure out what I wanted to used as a background.
  18. If you guys could continue to help me in my blogging course by checking this out and giving some feedback, it'd be great. Thanks guys. http://bit.ly/15fKSkA
  19. No no no and no. He's a 3-4 only player with medical issues. He has never been asked to cover at Georgia. Sure, he'd be a great rush linebacker when we run the 3-4 ONCE IN A WHILE... But do you really want to take a player at 8 that plays once in a while?
  20. OP, if you could post the text so nobody gets confused please do so. George Wilson has been released.
  21. I was told I'll be released today by the Buffalo Bills. Thanks to all the great Fans and friends I have met in Western New York.. It was Truly a pleasure being apart of that organization and culture.. Very unfortunate we didn't get the Bills to the playoffs but I know you You guys will have many successful years ahead of you. Thanks#billsmafia for all your support.. Sad to leave but like they say when one door closes more open up.. All in Gods hands..
  22. Due to the fact that I can't repeat a player more than once in this series, I only have so many QBs to use. So a QB won't appear in every post. I am also only changing three players per. There are certain limits, as I said. If there were more viable QB options that could potentially be available, then I would talk about them more. Thanks for reading, though. I'd prefer it if you would just place me on your ignore list if you are going to continue to say something negative and nonconstructive on every post. Thanks. I see where you're coming from. I thought of doing it both ways, but stuck with dislike because you don't beat on the things you love unless you're Jim Rome.
