These fines are useless. I’ve calculated this out before, and it’s like the equivalent to a parking ticket for the average American. Annoying, but not nearly enough to deter future behavior, especially when you’re considering the larger amounts of money.

Would there be any value in cutting ties with a coach (eat contract) and replace in-house until able to provide $$$ to attract new talent? Or is there too much risk in losing recruits, players, etc

Are coaching contracts at that level gaurenteed?

This is the insecure girlfriend yelling “why don’t you love me anymore?!” Blowing a simple and generally accepted idea out of proportion for what, to one up others as you are holier as a fan because you’d rather accept any other reason that Allen played bad aside from what it was: Allen played bad. Let’s call a spade, a spade. He was utterly awful (as previously stated, I’ll say it again, sorry if it offends you) in the 2nd half. If you know anything about my posting, I am very pro-Allen (who isn’t!). I even in another thread stated how well he played in the first half. That being said, I’m also not a blind homer. Anyone can see that’s a fair criticism to make, to a board of fans, discussing football. If you want harmony and positivity, try seasame street.

Kirk and I can disagree on this one. I hate when players tap their chest or head and say “that’s on me” in those situations. No crap man we all saw you do it ya loser. It has this sense of arrogance about it. You just effed up. Put your head down and get back into the huddle.
