Dolphins @ Bills Postgame thread

Allen put up and finished today. Can’t wait to rewatch the tape. McDermott should get the game ball, with an assist to the DL. My prediction was wrong again, and I couldn’t be more happy with that -

Mine was Julio Jones. My friend in HS and I ran across his high school highlight tape…when we were in the library for a study hall my junior year. I remember him signing on to Alabama, getting drafted, watched his whole career and finally his ultimate demise just the past season. He was an all time great.

Week 4, Bills favored by 3 over Dolphins

Makes sense with current narrative. One could also argue this made sense week 1. In just not sure that have that next gear, but if they do, agree that it’s be nice to see it when it matters most in the current match up -
You know they say there’s only one good thing about a freshman. One day, he’ll be a sophomore.

What do you think about the Miami D that warrants this? I tend to agree with your overall sentiment that we are waiting to see the next level, but I don’t specifically see any reason MIA would be that game to unlock it. Was this comment intended to mean Dorsey needs more time to work him into the development of the offense? Dorsey needs more time to figure it all out as a whole? Im not comparing the players, but watching LaPorta make plays last night shows it’s certainly possible early on. I think Kincaid WILL be fine, but I think we were all hopeful (even if unrealistically) that he would be more than just fine at this point. -

Jordan Love looks like he’s at a staff meeting. Does this guy even want to be there?

Why go for that? It worked out but feel like you should have taken the points. What do I know

As much as it sucks watching this game, I’m so happy to experience the Packers demise

LaPorta with some snags. Looks like they got a good one in DET…. …..hopefully we do too!
-
Could we get a competitive and quality prime time game some time please?
-
I’ll repeat my prediction of week 6. He’ll play a minimal rotational role. Floyd and Groot have been holding it down wonderfully, and there is no rush to force snaps early. Get his feet wet and his game conditioning back to full strength while he can come in situationally and build back up some confidence.

I wouldn’t call the play @Dr Krentist posted an error, mostly because a WR option was like 1 of the options on this play. Allen likely had some sort of read, maybe a safety or LB, to key in on which would tell him where to go. Although the line appears to be working towards Diggs, they are really working hat to hat. The Cook swing was there, and they had it lined up just about as well as you could want it (given the down and distance). As others have mentioned, since we don’t know the key or what Dorsey is telling Allen in his ear given weather, situation etc, I think this is a pass.
