  1. Surprised this guy is still at it
  2. Remember the Titans
  3. If we get MVP Josh on Monday, you might need those to clean up something else.
  4. A bit of both I suppose. I looked it up….the Mount Rushmore of Football from Fordham includes: - Vince Lombardi - John Skelton - Chase Edmunds Now I have even more questions
  5. Kadarius Toney playing QB for Nebraska
  6. I wasn’t aware Fordham had a football team
  7. When asked if he’s readyfor Monday Night (quote Per Nick Wojton on BillsWire.) “I think so,” Bernard said. “Super excited to see what happens.” Comments like that must have offenses shaking in fear.
  8. This is was interests me. Does the terminology simply mean that they have the option to escrow it, or does a team by guaranteeing themselves box them into paying it down the line with future years $$$. As that article suggests, I’m assuming that no teams actually use an escrow but the use the language as a bargaining tool (although you’d think an experienced agent would see through this).
  9. This is interesting. I also am curious where the $$$ comes from. Does the owner/team have to fork over the cash into an escrow to be paid out yearly in base salary? How about a guy that’s paid a large signing bonus (say 40 million)? Does the team pay this with their cash reserves upfront, even though they can spread the cap hit out over multiple seasons? Just thinking as some of these QB deals are coming with huge bonuses as well as the countless restructures beans used to lighten the cap load temporarily, where does that cash come from?
  10. Those two game vs Jets last year were the offenses worst of the season. I still cannot shake the one RZ pick Allen threw directly to a defender standing 5 yards in front of him in the RZ lol it was perplexing! I don’t think he was terrible, but not up to standard. And with this team the way it’s built, if you’re playing a valid opponent, Allen has to be who he is paid to be. Maybe the additions of Kincaid, the IOL upgrades and the (hopeful) emergence of Cook as a force will give the Bills another way to win when Allen and the air show is stifled.
  11. Just need one first down.
  12. Poetic justice? Collinsworth is the man tonight. Love it.
  13. Oh look a presnap penalty lmfao
  14. If I’m McDermott I have already submitted the tape to the NFL for review
  15. Trey Smith getting worked over. Take note Big Ed!
  16. I’d just throw it to Amon-Ra every play.
  17. Not a bills scheme exactly but I’d love to see move option football. I’m not talking zone read and RPOs…but old school load and veer options especially in the RZ. That’s OG football at it’s finest imo
  18. Right? Let’s make Allan Lazard and Randall Cobb beat us.
  19. I was surprised there wasn’t more of Hernandez in this…but I guess they didn’t want to pull from the focus of the team
  20. This is what I think. Specifically I think it’ll be one of those painfully slow developing zone read/ RPOs that always seem to go nowhere. I think they want to line up pound for pound to see what kind of push they can get in these guys but I’m hoping to use their quick DL and aggression against them. Im not a huge fan of how we line up OL vs DL in this game. So I’d prefer the pin and pull exterior game that we’ve found success with in recent years, likely to the left. Pocket collapses, Josh goes loco, breaks 2 tackles, jump pass across the body to Diggs working his way back across the field for 14.
  21. While we’re at it, anyone have ankle trouble? I had a killer sprain in college that never fully healed. 10+ years later it still clicks and grinds. No pain generally other than feeling weaker than my other. It’s permanently swollen/enlarger by an obvious amount. Gotta wonder if I did more damage than initially thought that never healed properly 🤔
  22. Actually doesn’t seem terribly priced. Not my cup of tea but for those who wish to be on the go, seems like a (lengthy) good option
  23. I actually really liked watching Russ play years ago. Seems like age and ego has gotten the best of him, and the kings ransom Denver paid won’t pan out, but he is world’s better than the other option in this scenario. The guy is scum.
  24. McDermott is on record stating that they generally spend a good chunk of their bye week to self-scout and hone in on certain issues, but this is only once throughout the season. I can only paraphrase this because I don’t remember when I read this, but I believe teams generally get “tendency reports” after 4 games, which I imagine they have their analytics department dissect and present. In todays game, I’d be shocked if this isn’t even more frequent than on a monthly basis. The problem is that with the next opponent on the docket week in and week out, there just isn’t time to make major revisions in philosophy or scheme. I’m hopeful Dorsey’s second year will provide him with the familiarity to allow streamlining some of these processes described in the article, so he can spend more congitive processing towards such items.
